I've read that xbox 360 need a pc with windows media center 2005 for streaming video, mp3 ecc....

M$ say this about Windows media connect 2.0...

Well, is Windows media center 2005 necessary or not???

OK to Downgrade Windows XP Pro to Windows 2000 Pro?

At one time Dell wouldn't sell new SB computers with Windows 2000. They would only sell them with either Windows XP Home or Professional. Now I see that Dell has made Windows 2000 available again.
Many people have told me that Microsoft approved downgrading Windows XP Pro licenses to Windows 2000 Pro licenses. This seems hard for me to believe, but if Microsoft allows it, I might do it.

Windows Live to start charging Windows Mobile owners?
Unless this is a mistake it seems that Microsoft have decided to kill off Windows Live by charging for it. This message has started to pop up when users sign into Windows Live Messenger. It states that a 30 day trial has just begun and, once complete, you'll need to buy a "30 day pass".
This seems like a crazy decision, especially when other handsets - which aren't powered by Windows - give free access into Messenger without any need to downl...

[solved] MFC App combining native GL windows / Ogre windows?

I have a legacy MFC application with many existing native OpenGL windows that I'm trying to convert to Ogre.
I have read about using multiple Ogre render windows in an MFC environment, and I've gotten that working great.
However, as an interim step I'd like to convert just some of the windows and have the old native GL windows coexist with some Ogre render windows within MFC. I'm currently using the GL rendersystem, but I can use D3D if needed.
Can someone tell me if it's possible to mix GL, Ogr...

Windows 97 Chinese Version of Windows 95 OSR2 iso?

Just post a comment stating weather Windows Vista is good [it can be any build of vista basic, premium, ultimate etc...] or Windows XP again any type pro, home, business... I myself like Windows Vista, I have had Windows XP in the past and I find that it is not for me. I have had Vista for quit some time now, going on a couple of years.
