Folks in the Canton/Akron/Cleveland and Surrounding Areas?
Asked on: 04 Aug 2006
I'm from the Canton area and I was wondering if there are other crafty folks in the Canton/Akron/Cleveland and Surrounding Areas that would like to participate in a sweat shop type or sampler type swap.
Here's what I had in mind:
* Craft x number of items (x depends on the number of participants)
* Meet up for lunch (or tea, or dinner, or drinks), and exchange your crafted items with everyone in the group
I just thought it'll be cool to meet all the talented crafters in this area. Any takers?

Anyone used ARGC that doesn't live in london or surrounding area?
Asked on: 26 Nov 2008
HI there,
Just a quick post to ask if anyone has concidered using Mr T at Argc at all if you live outside of London or the surrounding areas?
We live in Cheshire and have had four technically great but failed IVF/ICSI cycles and were wondering how practical it would be and even if possible?
Any advice greatly received

Why is Pink the only artist tackling the issues surrounding feminism and alcohol? It's hard to be a feminist when you're drunk. It's not that drinking isn't ladylike or that women shouldn't drink at all; my point is neither meant to be puritanical nor draconian. But how true to your own ideals, principles, and sense of self can you be if one is drowning that sense of self in booze?Whenever a woman hands her power to someone else--in this case, something else, alcohol--she is less than. White stuff surrounding broiled salmon?
Asked on: 26 Jan 2008
I broiled some salmon in my oven and am curious of the white stuff that leaked and cooked along the sides? What is that? Fat? The fat content per fillet is 1.5g. Anyway, i kept it on top of the fillets in case it's some healthy oils.
Can some one tell me what the white stuff is and if i'm supposed to eat it? I'll google search in the meantime.
Thanks!

Who Is Obama Surrounding Himself With?
Asked on: 03 Nov 2008
Not sure if this is 100% factual and I really hope it is not.
Quote: : opinion piece #9999 Rather than media pundits blowing a bunch of hot air about Barack Obama's former pastor, there ought to be a real discussion and examination of who he has picked as his foreign policy advisors. These choices will have far more of an impact on our country than which church Obama attended or where he stands on the various partisan wedge issues. Among the 13 advisors selected, there are some alarming choices....

Affordable housing surrounding CBD Area?

Guys what about affordable housing in the area. I have recently started looking at places around Dallas what I started thinking because I work for mortgage co. is what about affordable housing and new jobs. What kinda of market is the CBD-Uptown-Turtle Creek-Deep Ellum for new employment and new affordable housing. Help! Anyone from Portsmouth or surrounding area?
Asked on: 25 Apr 2008
Hi Ladies,
My DF and I are moving to Portsmouth over the summer and basically if we live in Portsmouth we can't adopt fthrough them because of the small geographical area and they wont place their children in Portsmouth itself. I wont go into too much detail but was wondering if anyone had used any other agencies and how that worked out.
Feel free to PM me as I am not sure of what you can and cannot say on here.
Thank you.
