The Technological Singularity, will A.I. ever surpass us?

The technological singularity is supposedly the point in time when A.I. surpasses Human intelligence. Some also define it as a period of extremely rapid technological progress, but that is not the point of this thread.
Do you think A.I could ever surpass human intelligence? Or do you think it could never catch up to the brain?

In alot of threads about how characters will develop, ive fallen back on Lenoardo da Vinchi´s Quote: that "It is a bad student who cant surpass his master". In short: The younger generation will always surpass the older.
So all the characters in Naruto´s age group will be the best in their styles of combat. Shino will be the best bug-user, Tenten the best weapon user, and Kankuro will be the best puppeteer...

Surpass Hosting is a nice, reliable host. How come I never see it mentioned...

I'm just curious as I look at some of those web host review sites. Every singly one of them miss one of the greatest hosts out there. Surpass Hosting. Why is that? I've been with them since they started up and their support and community are really nice. So, am I the only one here that uses them or what? I've always wondered why this is. Sorry if this sounds like an ad, it's not. Just wanted to know everyone's thoughts on this host.

Did Gwok Jing match/surpass Wong Seung's understanding of the 9 Yum Jen Ging...

I've long held the opinion that no mere practitioner of a martial art (especially a highly advanced one) can master that art more effectively than its originator. That being said, it's not necessarily true. Gwok Jing was the only individual other than Wong Seung himself to have mastered the complete 9 Yum Jen Ging. Did Gwok Jing's mastery of this martial art surpass even its creator's?

Matsumoto, possiblity of surpassing byakuya?

i've noticed matsumoto's sword, heineko, is similar to byakuya's except less flowery. hers is "ash", but still tiny tiny tiny sharp fragments of sword, similar to senbonzakura's petals of tiny tiny tiny sharp fragments of sword.
i think that with training, she could surpass kuchiki(b) as far as zanpaktou abilities go, what do you think? i personally think her sword is superior but not as well trained. also, lack of bankai (yet)

Did Goku ever surpass Gohan?

I've been thinking about this lately, and I couldn't find any solid evidence that points to whether he did or not.
What I mean is, did Goku (in GT) ever surpass Chou Gohan's power? Goku went to SSj4 in GT so I don't know if that form would be stronger than Gohan or not. The only evidence I can find anywhere is that Goku said Rilldo was "stronger than Buu", but Goku beat Rilldo while only in his SSj form...I don't know if that would work though.

What was the first Gold album where CD sales surpassed LP sales?

At the time, I remember hearing that it was Paul Simon's
"Graceland", but I don't know on what basis that claim was made, and I
don't know where to look for statistics on CD versus LP sales for the
last 20 years, broken down by album title.
I guess the best way to describe what I'm looking for would be
this:
"When was the first time that an album was certified 'Gold' by the
RIAA where CD sales for that album surpassed LP sales, and what was
the album?"
