Do Maxtor drives suck? Whose drives don't suck?

A few months ago, I started having problems with the Maxtor drive I have Xandros 3 installed on. I ran reiserfsck on it, and was informed that it's a hardware problem. Last week, a friend told me she couldn't boot into X3 anymore. I went and had a look, and lo and behold, it's another Maxtor drive, which reiserfsck says has a hardware problem. Hmmm, I see a pattern developing here: two Maxtor drives, two hardware failures.
So, what's your experience?

Does Fukui City suck or not suck? Should I bs or be honest?

I really want to get into JET and dont really have great qualifications (no japanese courses in college) but great motivation (i like japanese girls and cinema).
Anyways Im doing my application now and put down I have no preference on what area I live in but requested being placed in Fukui City since its the sister city of where I go to college. In truth, I like it because it has a train station and isnt totally in the boondocks.

Bush sucks? Personaly I think that bush is doing a realy F*CKING bad job at presidency.
Its sort of depressing that the country is being run by a colin a bush and a dick...lol

We all know that Markers of course suck ass, Tyrolias suck because they look like Markers, Lines suck because they're untested, Salomons used to not suck but then there was the thread about toe wiggle and plastic parts so they suck, Looks and Rossis are impossible to get fat brakes for so they must suck and Atomics must suck because they have lots of peices that can fall apart. SO IS THERE A BINDING THAT DOES NOT SUCK?

"Soccer Sucks!" vs. "MLS Sucks!" Which bothers you more?

We have all listened to WIP and heard the mindless soccer bashing by the goons that host and call in. We know that for some reason people feel that bashing soccer validates their sports fanhood.
On a daily basis, I hear more "MLS Sucks" than "soccer sucks". This can be attributed to the line of work that I'm in. I'm getting sick to death of telling people that "It's a young league" and to "give it a chance, it's getting better".
