sugar or a subsitute?
Asked on: 20 Nov 2008
I was raised on sweet and low..I switched to spenda years ago but research is supporting just the limited use of sugar. BUT>>>>the rasberry tea I had yesterday had 270 calories
Whats your opinion on this fake or real and why?

Salt or Salt Subsitute?
Asked on: 29 Jun 2005
Do most of you avoid salt on induction? If so, do you use a salt substitute
(0 sodium) instead of regular salt? Does using salt or a salt substitute
have any negative effect during induction?
Thanks.

Diatomaceous Earth powder as a subsitute for kitty litter?
Asked on: 25 Dec 2008
I've been reading that you can grow bonsais in 100% Diatomaceous Earth well, and I just remebered that I have a very fine powdered form of this used to kill fleas on my dogs and I was wondering if it were possible to grow my juniper in this powder? (Possibly with some perlite added) It is in dire need of a repotting because it is in regular potting soil right now and is very root bound and I can't find bonsai soil anywhere even in the greenhouses
Thanks in advance
Btw, This is what the jar says:...

Subsitute for K & N filter oil?
Asked on: 28 Feb 2004
I have a permanent K & N panel filter and was just wondering if anyone knew of a substitute oil I could use as the nearest K & N filter oil is about 30 miles away at the moment.
Or am I daft to even entertain the idea in the first place?

Subsitute for 2000 Grit Wet & Dry?
Asked on: 20 Sep 2008
Chaps,
Went to Halfords yesterday and managed to get 800, 1200 & 1500 grit wet and dry for lapping my E8600. However, I can't find 2000+ grit anywhere... tell a lie, a car body shop wanted to sell me 50 sheets for £28 plus VAT!
I have ordered a lapping kit, but I wont see that until Tuesday.
Is there anything else I could use to get that mirror finnish... Brasso perhaps or some kind of polish?

Subsitute for vtex?
Asked on: 10 Dec 2005
Vtex doesn't work for me, and I've spent too much time trying to get it fixed its just not worth it anymore. There has to be another program that converts image files to .vmt and .vga so I can put them in my map, but I can't seem to find one!

Fasting Subsitutes?
Asked on: 17 Jun 2004
Ok I know for milk you can subsititute some brands of Coffee Creamer and Soy Milk in place of milk. however I am drawing a blank as to what to use to subsitute for eggs? I have heard some say you can use pumpkin pie filling, but wasn't sure if this worked. Is there anything out there that can be subsituted for eggs?

Carnations?
Asked on: 30 Apr 2007
I would like to get some feedback on carnations. Are consumers tired of them? are retailers tired of them? Were they useful when you could buy them at .20 but now at .35 are they less interesting and you would prefer to subsitute anyother flower?
