Q6600+4850-512mb - stutters - what do I need?

I just upgraded my monitor & run a higher resolution now.
I really notice dips & stutters with lots of action / race cars on screen now.
- Far Cry 2 & Race 07/GTR Evo/STCC
Would a 1GB card cure this?

Before I start, this is my set up:
OCZ 550 watt (conservatively rated) power supply
2 gig CORSIAR XMS RAM
250 GIG SEGATE HD
ASUS A8N DELUXE MOBO
AMD 3500+ VENICE PROCESSOR
GEFORCE 6600 GT 128MB PCI-e graphics card
GIGABYTE Chassis (3DAURORA)
I had my FSB over clocked for a while (240 for a couple days and then running it at 230) and then the problems started occuring after a little bit of use so I backed it down slowly to the point that it was at what it started at (200).

Camino "stutters" -- Caminicon?

Mac OS 10.4.11, Camino 1.6.4
Camino has a 'stutter' hesitation when going to bookmarks, using pulldowns, etc. It's less than a second but very aggravating nonetheless.
I used Caminicon 1.8 to change Camino icons (I hate those little folders along the bookmark bar!) but otherwise have made no changes. Reinstalling Camino and not running Caminicon seems to have fixed the hesitation problem, but now I am stuck with ugly icons.
Anyone else have this problem? Is there way to change those icons withou...

Micro-Stutters?

Hi: I have been running FS2004 for a long time now...Get good frame rates, etc...Suddenly I have started getting the "micro-stutters" on landing and some turns...Can someone suggest which features to turn down to solve this? (or any other suggestions) I have defragged regularly and have not recently loaded any major add-ons...Thanks a lot...

Oblivion video stutters?

Yeah I just got Oblivion and im trying to play it and the game itself seems to run fine even with HDR enabled.Thing is im having trouble with the videos,even the intro video when game is loading.It seems as if it stutters,it plays and stops for a split second and then continues to play,its a bit annoying and would like to fix it to enjoy the game to its fullest.

RAID 0 stutters, help needed?

i just added a raid 0 setup to my existing setup, brand new clean install of xp pro all the latest drivers for m/b & video card etc. installed BF2, SF, 1.3patch (full), EF & AF. when i play it is nearly impossible to focus the mouse on any targets quickly (kinda sways). yet on the old ide drive it runs perfectly, i even copied the settings folder across and got a slight improvement but its still not as good as the original install. it makes no difference if i use 1 core or 2 either.
any ideas?

Audio playback stutters when downloading - what's problem?
