Why does my spine hurt when I'm hungover?
Asked on: 10 Oct 2008
My spine hurts when I'm hungover.
....ok, that sounds weird. But that's what it is. Lately (within the past year or so) I've noticed that whenever I have a hangover, there is a point along my spine (and it's always more or less the same point) that's really tender to the touch, like I slammed into something and it's bruised. This only ever happens when I'm hungover and is always gone in a day or two. It doesn't affect how I move or anything- it's just very tender to the touch. Does that happen t...

Early Japanese jazz CDs: yellow spined VDJ series--got any?
Asked on: 22 Oct 2008
I wouldn't say I'm a collector of these. I bought these years ago when almost all CDs were imports (for Americans at least). Once the OJC series came out, I probably never bought another VDJ. Back then I didn't know masterings made a difference, and the OJCs were good enough that I wouldn't have noticed anyway.
I have the 11 shown below, plus two later white-spined ones. If anyone has other titles in this series, I'd love to see them, or at least just hear about them.

Glowing Red Spine= Conception?
Asked on: 28 Dec 2008
This theory might've been brought up already, if it has then sorry.
I was in the middle of re-watching BSG season 1 episode 7 and i got to the scene where Sharron and Helo have sex. Now, while watching that glorious scene Sharrons spine started glowing in that scene. It was at this point a thought popped into my head. Could the red spine be possibly linked to when Cylons concieve children? The last time this was seen before then was in the mini series when Six and Baltar had sex before the nukes...

Spine? Important? Serious?
Asked on: 19 Feb 2008
I went and practiced with other people in my area for a while at a gym. no serious falls took place, lots of rug burns and such, all my falls we "elastic-esk" I just bounced back up, embarassment was my only bruise. the next day while at work my spine started to hurt, I did lift an unusually heavy pallet above my head. but it just has twinges and feels weak, like it needs to pop but I can't because it hurts too bad. I want someone to kick me hard in the back to pop it but I know that won't work....

Tooling for Alan Curtis ho NTTX spine car?
Asked on: 14 Nov 2008
I know Alan Curtis retired a time ago, and most of his n scale line was purchased, but I was curious to know anyone might know if anyone purchased the tooling to the ho nttx spine car.
I finally got around to putting mine together and just found out I'm short all four pedistals for the ends. At this point I think I'm pretty much SOL, but if someone purchased the tooling I might have a fair chance. Otherwise, it's off to the post office and pray Alan hasn't moved and that by some chance he still...

Songs soo good they create chills down your spine?
Asked on: 19 May 2008
There are a few songs out there that just really move me. I'm not talking about my favorite artists, or the music I would normally listen to, just the odd song that really makes me want to cry or at least makes me shiver all over.
