Site not secure? (paypal and others) Bug with the Security button?
Asked on: 21 Jul 2008
https://www.paypal.com/
This site (and other banking sites that I use) appear to be insecure with Opera (Win 9.51). Nonetheless, when I click on the security button, the site is reported as secure, and using "TLS v1.0 128 bit ARC4 (1024 bit RSA/MD5)". Firefox and IE report the site as secure.
It appears to be ONLY the security button that indicates that the site is not secure. I even tried several different skins to make sure it wasn't a skin problem. Is this a bug?

Asked on: 26 Nov 2007
Is the software we're using to protect ourselves from online attacks becoming a liability? That's what Thierry Zoller believes. For the past two years, the security engineer for n.runs AG has taken a close look at the way antivirus software inspects e-mail traffic, and he thinks companies that try to improve security by checking data with more than one antivirus engine may actually be making things worse. For those that have been through the process of obtaining a security clearance, do you think Obama could get one? A Top Secret one? One of the highest level suitable for a President?

Asked on: 25 Jul 2004
Oh yeah, heinz-kerry chooses his advisors well. he scares me more and more and when I think of the possibility of him becoming POTUS/CIC.
I also wonder if he'll be "too busy" to be briefed on National Affairs and on Homeland Security. he was too busy to be briefed by Tom Ridge a couple of weeks ago.
he's worse than the jerk that I usually call him. :p
