six epidodes for a season, right...but how many seasons?

Hi everybody,
I can't find a topic about this, so I want to ask: how many seasons are planned???
I expect a season 2 with 6 news episodes soon!! and a season 3, and a season 4, and a season 5, and a season 6, and a season 7, and a season 8, and a season 9, and so on...

how would you rate season four compared to the other seasons?

there probably is a thread for this but i didn't feel like looking for it out of all the threads, anyways, i was curious to hear people's view of season four at this point and whether they thought it was the best season or pretty close
my opinion on this season so far is that it's easily one of the best, season 2 is my favorite but i think season 4 is pretty close

Just wondering why the Ropers was #7 in the ratings in season one but not...

I can't believe it was the time slot that caused the ratings to fall in season 2. Was there any changes in the cast or just poor second season writing? If a show is number 7 the previous season, it was something that held the attention that season so i'm just curious to know the REAL reason why the ratings dropped.

I'm hearing talks of whether or not the CW will renew Smallville for a possible season 9. Does anyone know if there is a deadline for the decision by the CW to have a season 9 or end it at season 8? If there is a deadline, when will it be?

I heard from a friend of mine that the 4th episode of Sam and Max was released as free around two weeks ago. I fell in love with the series, and I'm planning to buy both Season 1 and Season 2 for Christmas.
