is running at running 7000rpm(fan) and 80 celsius bad? Asked on: 12 Nov 2008
is it bad to have my processor and fan running up so high??? i have no idea why is it running so hot.. all i did was close my screen, and left it sleep with my battery charger and external HDD plug into it.. then when i am back to use it, i saw the cpu temp at 80 celsius, and fan at 7000.. what happened if i didn't come back to use my macbook the whole night? would it cause damage to my hardware? Note: the picture is taken 1/2 minutes late..

Well I've been noticing a LOT of smoke pouring out of my exhaust when i get on the car hard. its mostly black but with a hint of blue (my valve seals are gone) so i got a little nervous and wanted to check my comp. 190 across again (9:1 LS/Vtec) and right now im running it N/A. Hi! I'm curreently away from home and have to rely on library computers to update my website. Unfortunatly, not all of those computers I am using have an USB port. (FileZilla by the way works great from USB sticks, thanks for that. ) But I still want to update my website from those computers only having a disk drive. (Installing programms on the computers themselves would not work and is forbidden anyway, but it's no problem running stuff from USB sticks, so I suppose, running sth. from disk sho...

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has got SilverStripe CMS ( www.silverstripe.com ) running on their siteground account? I have tried to install it but get mod_rewrite errors which is a bit wierd as my Joomla site is using mod_rewrite just fine. Question: Many times people mention that to speed up your computers overall speed--including Windows start-up, and shut down--is to eliminate unnecessary programs from running in the background. I'm trying to get an approximate value it should be NEAR for my system. Nvidia 9650GT with 1gb Core2 T5800 4gb DDR2 I'm running the drivers that Ubuntu decided to install, with Compiz running, and getting ~2000 fps. IIRC, my old desktop with the 7900 got somewhere around 10k, so this seems slow. I do get a message saying: "Direct Rendering failed, doing indirect rendering" Any thoughts?

Ok, I think I may have another problem with my 4 day old c350... Most temperature gauges usually hover right smack in the middle... So that would be 80 degrees celsius on the w204... my vehicle has a constand running temperature of above the middle of the gauge and is ALWAYS at 90-92 degrees max during normal driving...
