Ever sort of develop an "aversion" to rolling after not rolling for a long...

I know a bunch of people that are like that. The couple weeks after the last time they rolled hard, they think about it a lot, start thinking about the next time they'll roll, etc. But after a while, say 2 months or so of not rolling, it seems when you think about it retrospectively, it doesn't seem as appealing, kind of like you forget how good it really is. It's happened to me plenty of times before, I wouldn't roll for a couple months then when I'd think about rolling it'd feel like it's not...

Rolling Demos. What type of file?
Asked on: 20 Mar 2007
In the first Trackmania game I was able to create a replay for each track I made and put it into the "rolling demo" folder. At the beginning of the game they played at random and in the game you could click on Rolling Demo and it would launch them.
In TMU there is a folder in the "My Doccument" folder called Rolling Demo.
I've put replays in there. Old ones, new ones, but they don't seem to play.
In the Launcher, config. menu under the advanced tab the checkbox next to 'Skip Rolling Demo' is lef...

Rolling, start asap one wait and learn/improve more tech?
Asked on: 11 Jun 2006
Is rolling something that you should start doing after you've gotten a few months of experience in? Should you begin asap?
I've just hit the 1 month mark, there isn't any rolling in the basic white belt classes, it's just warm up - drill techniques. The more advanced classes roll and some days have dedicated time slots for rolling. Obviously at 4 weeks I only know so much, and what I do know I lack in quality technique (not bad in some areas, while others are just awfully sloppy). I consider mys...

Rolling pin advice, please?
Asked on: 28 Jul 2008
When we moved here almost a year ago, my old tried and true wooden rolling pin must have fallen into a black hole. It hasn't been seen since. I don't give up easily and kept telling myself that with patience, it would turn up again. But alas, it isn't to be.
So I went Googling to find a good price on another one. I was astonished at all the different rolling pins now available for our choice. Silicon ones, stainless steel ones, marble ones, french ones, maple ones and plain old wooden ones. Of c...
