How do I record a VHS tape onto a recorder? Asked on: 21 May 2004
I want to record some VHS home movies onto a DVD. I have an excellent DVD+R burner in my new Dell desktop and, although I am not a computer novice, I don't know how to do this. Assuming there is an appropriate software package to enable me to do this, how is it done? Is the VHS movie created on the hard disk in real time with the DVD burning from this file? Is the same true for recording a cassette tape onto the CD+R crive? Joe

Loop recording..how to not hear previous takes whle recording? Asked on: 06 Aug 2007
I'm trying to loop record, and it seems like every time it loops, the previous takes keep playing over what i'm trying to record. Is there a way to set it up so when I loop record I only hear what i am recording on that particular take?

Recording from DVR to DVD recorder? Asked on: 22 Dec 2008
I've been recording TV stuff from my HR21 to my DVD recorder for months. Today I suddenly can't do it. EVERYTHING I try to record, even worthless stuff like ESPNEWS, won't record. A message pops up telling me I'm not allowed to record it just like if I tried to record a copy protected DVD or something. Has DirecTV blocked the ability to record from the DVR completely? Anybody else having this trouble? Or has maybe my recorder just screwed up?

This is a new myth build, and I'm doing something wrong in that I cannot find my scheduled recordings under MediaLibrary->Watch Recordings. I CAN see all the recordings that I actually watched live, and anything that I sceduled to record while I was watching TV (The tuner will switch to that channel). Hey guys. I'm looking for an MP3 recorder, such as a digital voice recorder, that has the longest possible recording time. Finding a device with enough memory to record a few days of material is not a problem. The problem is I can't find a device that will run for more then 22 hours without changing the batteries. FBN record is public record.. anyone can look up and obtain my home address (I own a home based business). Is DBA record also public? I hate to file a FBN and let my competitors to know my home address... If I file FBN with a generic business name AND file DBA, will that make it difficult for my competitors to find my home address? I just want it to be a little difficult for them to get my home address. Thank you.

Can I pull data down from an Account record to its Contact records? Asked on: 21 Apr 2008
How can I pass the value of a field from the Account record down to the Contact records for that account? I have a field on the account level with a status that I want to view on the contact records associated with that account. I don't want users to have to complete the field again for every contact - I just want it pulled down from the Account level. Is this possible? Thanks for the help!
