Linking files directly using Web Links component?

How can I get the mambo "Web Links" component to allow a "file:" link instead of always forcing "http:" ??
I have some files that are on a local share so they are editable but I cant get links in here to work right. The URL for it would be something like "file://servername/sharename/file.xls"

Can I link use two linked fields to link two tables?

I'm using Crystal v10 with DBase IV tables.
Table 1 is transaction detail and includes fields-
Number, Item, Qty, Location.
Table 2 is stock status and includes fields-
Item, Location, OnHand.
I am using a left inner join to link Item and Location in Table 1 to Item and Location in Table 2.
I have checked that each record in Table 1 has just one record in table 2 with the same combination of Item and Location.
The result I am looking for would be a list of all records in Table 1, showing inform...

Displaying 3 links vs 5 links?

What is the optimal amount of co-op links to display on a page? Or does it even matter if you display 3 links vs displaying 20 links?
Or is the weight simply based on impressions and not the number of links you display?

How Can I get My RSS Feed Links to Open Links In New Window?

I am using Vbulletin 3.6.4 and need to know how I can edit this so that it assigns the links in my RSS to Open Link in New Window.

That is whats in my RSS Manager now for the link (except I added a '.' to url so I could paste the code here without it showing up as a 'More...' link, but when I try to put my feeds into an IFRAME, the 'More...' link won't open in a new window.

Why don't featured links look like regular links?
I'm having a hard time understanding why featured links appear different from regular links. It looks like they have a different set of properties in main.css, but I can't for the life of me figure out where they are in main.css.
So, a couple questions:
1) Why don't featured links use the same properties as regular links (i.e. text size)?
2) Is there something I can change in index.php that would "force" it to display featured links using the s...
