Group shared experience gain: Is it determined by character levels or ship...

For example, say I am a level 30. My friend is level 8. We are sinking ships together. Using historical MMORPG reasoning, we would believe that my level 8 friend is getting much less experience because I'm such a higher level. Fair. After all, in "most" MMORPGs, character level is a prime factor in determing a character's power.
But. This game doesn't theoretically work that way.
This game isn't quite determined by "character level", but rather by "ship level". For example, a level 50 character...

Out of curiosity, would this be advisable without HP-washing? I've done a pomegranate-load of HP-washing since ...7X or so, I can't recall how much I spent. But at this point, I no longer feel compelled to spend near 3 dollars per AP resets... >_> As far as I can see, the benefits of HP-washing = Higher HP to HornTail, and that's it. I think the minimum was something like 4.5k (w/o HB) for NLs? Or was it 5k? But I'm only planning to put 5 levels worth of APs into HP from 121-126. If I stil...

Should we keep our levels when new version is out?

I think that instead of having to start all over again at level 1 and level up to 30 they should just let us keep the levels that we have now and start from there, cause regardless we are gonna have to gain ATLEAST 10 new levels when it comes out, so why not keep the levels we got now? Select TOC levels when inserting a TOC?

Hi there,
is there a way to tell Nisus what levels should be included in a TOC? I. e. select, say, only level 8 for the TOC you insert, or levels 1-4, ignore the rest?
That would be a handy feature. E. g. you could use TOC level 8 for figures and later just create a TOC with level 8 only to have a table of figures … Or have the first TOC show only levels 1 and 2 (for an overview) and add a deeper TOC later in the book for all the detail stuff.
If this is not possible yet, count this as a feature...
