How late is late breakfast?
Asked on: 16 Dec 2008
After reading several threads we think we will try and make as much use of EHM when we are in DLRP from 24th - 29th Dec and come back to the hotel (if we can't get GMF breakfast) for a late breakfast.
My question is how late is late? What is the last sitting? Would there be much food left? We are staying in Sequoia Lodge. I'm bringing some cereal and carton milk for DD to have something early as we get ready - so as long as there is normally food left we'd prefer to leave it as late as possible....

Late September too late to tour Alaska?
Asked on: 24 Jul 2007
I may have to go to Anchorage the week of Sept. 24th. Immediately 2 thoughts run though my mind.
Ride there. 3200 miles from Denver. I am used to 800 miles days, but would take 8 days to get home. Trip would be tax deductable for unreimbursed travel expenses. Too bad my company would not pay me $.48 a mile. With the cost of gas and lodging it would be an expensice unplanned vacation.
Fly and ride. Work the week, then rent a bike and go for a 3-4 day ride. Could I make it to the Artic Circle and...

Late matching contribution (but not too late!) - provide earnings?
Asked on: 15 Jan 2002
A plan makes matching contributions on a monthly basis. However, due to an oversight, several employees (but not all) have not yet received their 2001 matching contributions. The terms of the plan document allow the employer to contribute the matching contribution as late as is allowed by law (i.e. the filing of the tax return).
Since most employees received their matching contributions each month, is the sponsor required to provide earnings to the few employees who will receive their match "lat...

How late is too late to call someone?
Asked on: 22 Dec 2008
BG Information:
- We live in a very small community where all neighbors at least know each others names and basics about each other.
- We've lived here for 9 months.
- The individual I am referring to is the self-designated "block captain" for our section of the housing development. He is relatively harmless and has set himself up as the neighborhood herald (basically, gossiping about anyone and everyone.) We rarely interact with this person, other than at block parties.
- We have a 6 year old...

S/O of How early is too early - how late is too late?
Asked on: 31 Oct 2008
Ok the other thread raised an issue we are having ourselves.
MIL likes to create lots and lots of drama by never telling anyone when she and husband plan to come up from VA for the holidays. There is not a formal gathering with her and everyone, because she likes to do everyone's presents "individually" (meaning, that way no one sees her playing favorites). However she has four bioligical children, all married, with 5 children among them, plus 3 stepchildren with 3 children among them. That's a...

Suzuki - late model changes, late arrivals?
Asked on: 20 Nov 2008
It would appear Suzuki has been holding back on us.
This week, at the Milan Bike show, they paraded out their newly restyled Bandit 650's, which receive:
a new semi-fairing,
new headlight (both naked & semi-faired versions get different headlights);
new mirrors
new tail lights (narrower, almost reversed V shape);
new instrument panel; AND
new storage-bins in the fairings (actually in the black instrument-surround-like plastic between the fairings and the frame at the tank).
But more importantly,...

Asked on: 03 Mar 2005
I've been charting since June and my luteal phase is always 16 days. My cycle has been between 31 and 33 days since I was like 14. (I'm 22 now.)This month, I am 23 days past ovualting, and still no period. However, I took a home pregnancy test and it was negative. I can't get in to my doc until next week and I'm going crazy? Is there any other way to know if I'm pregnant?
