Win XP won't keep time but keeps oc?   Asked on: 04 Nov 2008
Hello guys, Something strange is going to make me buy a new motherboard soon. I've changed the cmos battery 2 times but still nothing. The windows clock won't keep time when I shut the pc down. BUT, it keeps all the bios memory of my overclock from 1.9 to 2.7 amd 3600 x 2. How could this be possible? Also I cannot sync my time with the gov site from the clock. It just says an error occured. GA-M61P-S3 is my MB. Do i really have to buy another mb just because of this? All updates are current with...

Would it be retarted to not keep mothers and keep growing from seed?   Asked on: 12 Dec 2008
I'm getting all my gear in order, and I'm trying to keep my plant numbers as low as possible for security reasons. I'm thinking that I might just buy some fem. seeds, flower them, reveg/force flower until it stops producing, then start over from seed again the next time. This will undoubtedly become expensive as hell. Any general suggestions or thoughts on this? Thanks so much. Sorry for all the dumb questions. I'm learning as I go.

Keeping mirrored backups...anything better than rsync?   Asked on: 17 Dec 2008
I'm keeping mirrored backups of my servers. Does anyone know of any solution better than rsync to update the files on the backup server? I've noticed that when running rsync it can cause a lot of disk i/o, which can slow down a running server. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to decrease disk i/o or another solution to keeping mirrored backups on a secondary server? Thanks in advance.

Question Really concerned about this: Should a Moderator keep answers private...   Asked on: 20 Jun 2008
Really concerned about this: Should a Moderator keep answers private? I put this issue for discussion to every customer of Joomlart When I came back sometime in mid May 2008, I noticed a slew of new Moderators I never heard before. I do not know how Joomlart screened these new Moderator but there is a behavior that I consider rather question and bordering unethical. Here is the gist of the issue: 1. Many of have asked many many questions but most of them remained unresolved. In the JA Telline fo...

CPU keeps going to 100%--any suggestions to remedy?   Asked on: 15 Feb 2008
Question: Hi, I'm running Windows XP Pro SP2 and I have developed a problem where by the CPU keeps going to 100% and either freezes the PC or slows it down to virtually standstill. I have searched on the net and found that quite a few people have this problem. I tried some of the fixes suggested, but they didn't work. I have to reboot the PC and then it’s fine for awhile. What could possibly be causing this problem? Is this a problem with the operating system or is it a hardware problem? I hope...

Religious lady keeps miscarriage?   Asked on: 30 Oct 2008
I just don't see how this would be legal in most places: http://www.documentingreality.com/fo...ge-keeps-9496/ I'm skeptical myself, though I wouldn't entirely put it past some super religious folks.

To keep Apollo in, or not to keep Apollo in?   Asked on: 08 Mar 2005
That is the question! Ok, I was just looking at the map of where tiliqua aspera is found and they're found quite a bit higher on the map than where I live. It was alright to keep Candice outside during Summer when it was warm but it will get quiet frosty on Winter mornings, so do you think it will be too cold to keep her outside or can they handle that? Sometimes it might get to minus 5 degrees C (23F) in the early mornings and I think that's too cold, does anyone else agree or am I just being a...
