What DC programs are best for Journalism and volunteering?

DC Masters in Journalism/volunteer work with students: Am I missing anything?
The plan is to move to DC to get my masters in Journalism. While there, I'd like to volunteer in an AmeriCorps program as well.
I'm considering the following programs:
-Masters of Professional Studies in Journalism at Georgetown University
-Masters of Arts in Interactive Journalism at American University
-Heads Up AmeriCorps
-City Year AmeriCorps

How did the ONM staff get into games journalism?

Are journalism students completely screwed?

Given the never ending stream of bad news coming from print media companies, what is the realistic job outlook for a college student who will be graduating with an undergrad print journalism degree in the next 1-2 years? In other words, am I completely screwed?

Blogs as the burning truth of journalism?

Interesting article on bloggs as journalism at the BBC. Not revelatory by any means but interesting.
How do you see these journalistic/political blogs and their role? It seems from the evidance of a few issues at the least they certainly provide some good service in uncovering truths.
How much though compared to rumour /scare mungering? Overall a good or bad thing?
I reckon it's probably good, except that. I wonder when people take them as more credible sources or treat them like the common mans...

Journalism for Christians?

I'm doing my internship with a national newspaper in Melbourne, and I am having issues with journalism ethics, it seems they will make up stuff to make a story sell if that means lie or slander a person than so be it. I can't stand this.. what are your thoughts on journalism ethics? is there a place for Christians in the journalism world?

How much do you trust videogame media/journalism?

What I'm referring to are sites or publications that deliver news, reviews, previews and features.
I read a conspiracy story today that suggests a journalist had been sacked in relation to giving an anticipated game a bad review and the game publishers threatening to pull all their advertising from the site.
It's not necessary to go into specifics because it's unlikely they'll ever be proved to be anything other than conspiracy theories but that it sounds plausible is cause for concern.
