What's the worst accident you've had involving your gear or a gig?
Asked on: 13 Jun 2007
After my quiz last night, I tripped over and went flying...with a speaker in one hand & my quiz console (containing a mixer amp & minidisc player) in the other
I hurt my leg & left wrist, grazed both arms & ripped my jeans.
When I got home, the first thing I did was to test the speaker, mixer amp & minidisc player...and amazingly they all still worked fine!
I'm not a clumsy person & have never done anything like this before.
So, what's the worst accident YOU'VE had involving your gear or a gig?

What is the name of this novel involving WB Yeats?
Asked on: 20 Oct 2008
What's the novel I read that featured an old flame of WB Yeats?
The main character was a young girl, who knew an elderly woman who'd been involved with Yeats. I distinctly recall the woman referring to him as "my Willie" and refusing to be interviewed about him, and I think that in her will she left the girl something that Yeats had given her.

What is a good job involving English?
Asked on: 27 Oct 2008
Hi i was just wondering what types of jobs are out there which involve English. I am currently ranked 1st and 2nd repsectively for Adv and Ext. English and was just wondering. I have read all the job guide's etc but am wondering whether there are others which are not listed. Journalism appeals to me however i don't neccessarily fancy travelling.

Bug involving Firefox bookmarks- fixed yet?
Asked on: 13 Nov 2008
I've been following a thread elsewhere: http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showt...79886&st=40
I can't tell if this is being fixed or not. Is there something I can do to stop the problem that exists between Firefox and Kaspersky yet, or do I just need to wait?
Thanks.

if I choose AccountNo: 3
I will have the Type choice of: stupid, smart
This is what I went to do:

Any tips on pitfalls involving STL's string?
Asked on: 11 Dec 2008
I have this problem with this CGI I'm writing that involves another library (cgicc) which deals with STL's string class. The problem is a seg fault, and by reading valgrind reports it's clearly a problem of stray pointers and the like. I've spent that last several hours thinking outside the box, which clearly hasn't worked, so now I'm trying to think outside the warehouse and I don't seem to be getting anywhere. Here's the first valgrind report on something wrong:
