Asked on: 03 Nov 2008
This topic is something that should not be ignored because it very much will affect the millions and millions and millions of internet browsers out here.
Internet2 will be the "modern day" internet that is supposed to take full effect in the year 2012. That is..if it is not stopped.
Internet2 will essentially make you pay for your internet as if it were cable TV...people will have to buy access to view certain websites, just like those with digital cable have to buy HBO to view it, pay for your...

Internet or internets?
Asked on: 25 Nov 2008
DH and I had this argument last night.
I say we have internets because there's more than one. Most of us use www. But, there's www2 for education. There's a special one just for gov't, and there's more. (Don't ask me tho, I'm not an expert on them.)
Just as you would say networks, there are internets and we as general users don't necessarily have access to all of them.
So, one net or nets?

Resolved I have internet connection but not automatically, why?
Asked on: 09 Nov 2008
Suddenly my laptop will not log on to the internet as it does not initialise the router. I can get on all right via the 'connect to' facility and although I click 'remember' and also 'connect automatically', it rudely ignores me.
Any procedure to teach it who is boss, very welcome.
