What's the best web hosting for iWeb? Asked on: 24 Nov 2008
I want to register my own domain (not a mobileme address) but which is the best when using iWeb? I'd love to know what you all use and would even love to see some good iWeb examples.... Thanks all.

I am currently looking for a Canadian web host provider and iWeb looks really good. the only problem is every review I read about iWeb is about their dedicated servers and I only need, at least for now, web hosting, not a dedicated server. So, if anybody can share any experience with iWeb's web hosting, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, a couple questions if anybody knows. Alt Text using iWeb? Asked on: 31 Oct 2008
I did a search and was surprised not to find a thread on this. Does anybody know if it is possible to have alt-text associated with images in pages produced by iWeb? It's making me a little nuts.

Publish Website to MobileMe WITHOUT iWeb .. Possible? Asked on: 14 Nov 2008
Hi, I have an existing website that was not created with iWeb that I want to publish to my MobileMe account using a Personal Domain (i.e., I have a domain name for the website that I want to use instead of the default www.me.com/sites/xxxx) Is that possible? I know how to register my personal domain with MobileMe, but I don't know how to publish the contents of my current website to that personal domain without iWeb. Thanks.

Upload iweb into Dreamweaver for my website? Asked on: 30 Oct 2008
Hi. I have finished my website made on iweb (ilife 08)... I have my own domain name with directnic.com and want to keep it there. I also have Dreamweaver CS3 (never used it). Can I use Dreamweaver as my FTP thing to get it to Directnic? Please be gentle with me... (if that was a ridiculous question)... I need to know what to do next now that my website is designed and ready to go... thanks!

Id like to start a product swapping website; can RW or iweb do the following: 1. register/keep track of members to the website (free to register) 2. keep members accountable for the swap they agreed to 3. set up a way for people to search/browse products 4. Hi! I am using iWeb '08 version 2.0.4 and I am creating a huge FAQ page on my site (www.desertluxuryvacations.com). I was hoping to be able to link to different spots on the same page? (i.e. like a "Back to Top" so people aren't scrolling forever...I have a ton of FAQ! ) Any ideas? Thanks! Emily
