[iPhone 3G] Can an iPhone 3G SIM Card be used on a First Generation iPhone...
Asked on: 06 Jul 2008
I have a first generation iPhone, and I will be purchasing the iPhone 3G on July 11 and possibly using my first generation iPhone until a jailbreak and unlock method are available (hopefully) for the iPhone 3G. I am an AT&T customer, and it seems like AT&T is not using the SIM card from the first generation iPhone and is activating a new SIM card on the iPhone 3G. Does anybody know if the iPhone 3G's SIM card can then be used on the first generation iPhone, if necessary? It may be that nobody kn...

Iphone Owners: Jailbroken your softbank iphone yet?
Asked on: 17 Aug 2008
I know there are at least a few iphone owners here, and i'm wondering if anyone here has unlocked/jailbroken their iphone yet, or had any issues. There seem to be some cool applications out for people who have done this (as if this phone wasn't already good enough), but I still need to do a bit more research on it.

Can I use my 3G iphone sim in my old 2g iphone?
Asked on: 21 Aug 2008
I am taking a trip and would rather not lose my new 3G iphone on it, but if I lost my old 2G, I wouldn't mind so much as its scratched up anyways.
Would it work if I popped the SIM out of my 3G and put it in my old 2G? I have a legit AT&T contract. I don't want to screw anything up.
UPDATE: I did try this but it wants to activate the 3G SIM in the 2G with itunes, and as I'm going on my trip tomorrow for 6 days, I don't want to do anything to screw up my iphone service. I suppose I will just use...

Can I sell my 3g iPhone and go and get another 3g iPhone?
Asked on: 04 Dec 2008
I just got my 3g phone last night and w/ xmas coming up, I know I could sell it for more than I paid, then go buy another of the same phone and have money for xmas too. How do you do this as far as ATT? Is all of your info attached to the phone itself somehow (serial #,etc.) or just the SIM, so could I just slip my SIM into another iphone and have it work?
