Non-Heated to Heated Seats?
Asked on: 18 Oct 2007
I've learned that heated seats are raucous and it would be amazing to have for the winter..
How much work would it be to swap a heated seat system into my stock cloth seats? Would I need to swap in a leather set up? Would it be easier to just swap it out completely from another vehicle? Or to take the heating elements and switches and just the componants and put them into mine?

Asked on: 11 Dec 2008
Still awaiting engineers to fix my central heating under the warmfront scheme, but it would appear that I am on some kind of very slow and extensive waiting list!
Have a gas fire in the lounge but need to heat areas at the other end of the bungalow on occasions therefore, need to find a relatively reasonable form of portable heating, what would you suggest, in your experience, is the best option for this?

Asked on: 24 Feb 2004
Hi,
I'm trying to get the passenger mirror fixed on a T reg Avensis SE. Mounting seems OK but the glass needs replacing. Does anyone know if the SE edition has heated or unheated mirrors? (Excuse for not knowing this: it's my girlfriend's car, trying to get it fixed for her while she's on hols, don't have owner's manual (for car not girlfriend that is ... hmm, either for that matter)). Looks to me very much like this one isn't - can't find a button for it on dash (or do they come on with the rea...

Helio Heat or no Helio Heat?
Asked on: 23 Oct 2008
I'm looking at getting a new phone and a new service provider. After careful searching, almost all companies require a stringent credit check. I have horrible credit. Prepaid is not an option as any decent prepaid phone is ridiculously expensive and the service is generally sub par. I narrowed it down to something from Virgin Mobile or Helio. I have heard some bad about both companies, but since neither require a credit check, these are my choices. I'd rather not go with Virgin Mobile as almost...

How long for heat pad to heat up?
Asked on: 19 Nov 2008
I have had two of them on for an hour already and they are barely warm, if they are warm at all... is this normal?! One is an 8 watt, and the other one might not work, but it is a 16 watt.
