Bandwidth on Free Group accounts, is it assigned to the individual issuer...   Asked on: 17 Jul 2008
I just set up a group account on my free account. Now I wonder how the bandwidth gets assigned. I am thinking that each person that posts a picture to "my" group gets assigned the bandwidth and my account stays at Zero or whatever bandwidth that "I" have actually used. I would only be charged for any bandwidth that I actually used in my "regular" account. Is that about right?

Group E? Group F? Group K?   Asked on: 16 Sep 2004
Anyone else out there still coming? We've got a newbie coming to Awaji but the school won't give out any of his information. The BOE won't give the previous JET the email because she broke contract to leave and they think she'll scare him away. So I'm looking for a Mr. R. Mills from NY state...if you are him or know him, well, get his ass online!

How do I keep groups within a group?   Asked on: 18 Dec 2008
Is there a switch I am missing to allow ArchiCAD to keep subgroups within groups? Since AC9, whenever I group multiple groups (say to select and move them all at once) then ungroup the overall group all of the subgroups are ungrouped as well leaving one mess of ungrouped objects. What am I doing wrong here?

Rearrange groups/folders in the Group pane?   Asked on: 27 Jan 2007
Are the folders in the Groups window just listed in the order they were created? Is there any way to change the order? I would like to move the larger groups to the bottom, so the smaller groups get refreshed right away when I hit the Update button, instead of waiting for the larger groups to finish downloading new headers.. As far as I can tell, even manually moving large groups to the bottom of the download list doesn't work like it does for files - the headers keep downloading, so apparently...

Can I read Google Groups and Yahoo Groups via Opera Client?   Asked on: 14 Nov 2008
I keep seeing things that sound to me like people are reading their mailing lists (such as Google Groups and Yahoo Groups) via the Opera client. Am I misunderstanding, or is this possible? If so, how do I set it up? --Rich

Messages in group B still unread when deleted in group A?   Asked on: 25 May 2007
Hi everyone. My apologies if this issue has been reported or addressed elsewhere, but a search and scan of recent topics gave me no relevant results. Basically my issue is that Newsbin used to mark as read in other groups posts that were deleted in any group (at least, that's what I *think* was happening). I encountered this often in the various dvd groups, where a lot of cross posting happens. I typically load several of these groups using Show Posts and then would check the posts in one group,...
