Briggs signing a 1yr contract greatly raise his value?
Asked on: 26 Jul 2007
I understand him signing means he will not holdout....but do you think he will be a maniac trying to impress other teams???
Just wondering and wanted to see what you all thought of him as a player being so young and talanted. (being on a great D team hasn't hurt him either)

sata or sas? performance greatly increased with sas?
Asked on: 01 Dec 2008
I'm about to put together another virtual server for our organization
of about 40 users overall (currently)..
We currently run virtual server 2005.. but the new server will either
be hyper-v barebones server.. or server 2008 with the hyperv role..
Right now i run 11 or so virtual servers, each with their own role
(basically one application per vm) on a dual CPU, dual quad core
harpertown 2.5 GHZ xeon...
The new server will probably have a 2.83GHZ cpu, same class though..
It will have this mother...

The Right to silence a greatly controversial issue?
Asked on: 03 Jan 2009
Its clearly a debatable issue, considering the developments, whereby now adverse inferences can be made.
Prior to adverse inferences, it was like guilty could get off and now the innocent are found guilty....

Increasing resonance greatly decreases volumje. Normal?
Asked on: 19 Apr 2005
Hi. I've noticed something with my new Voyager and I was wondering if it was a normal characteristic.
Increasing the resonance significantly decreases volume. This seems to occur but to a lesser extent on my Juno 106. I also have a Korg MS-20 filter clone and here you appear to be able to whack the resonance up as much as you like without a decrease in overall volume (in fact a limiter is necessary to stop it ripping the speaker to shreds!).
Is the behaviour of my Moog normal? If so, s'all good

Does appearance greatly influence getting a job as a pilot?
Asked on: 10 Aug 2005
Was just interested to hear your thoughts.
When I was doing my IFR training I got talking to my instructor about this, he said the chief flight instructor at the academy who employs told him that he has turned away pilots beacuse they looked younger than their age, over someone with similar experience but who looked their age. My instructor said a more older mature looking instructor could make scared fliers feel more comfortable.

CPU reported temps differ greatly between monitor apps...why?
Asked on: 14 Oct 2008
I have PCProbe (came with Asus Rampage MB) and Nvidia System monitor. The results they each report on my CPU temp are not even close. Asus says idle temp is around 46c, but Nvidia says 72c. Bios says yet a third number, but it is at least close to the Asus Probe one.
In any event, when I run ANY game, cpu overheats...gets to 90+ celcius both pcprobe and nvidia monitor go nuts and I shut down pc. I have no idea what is wrong but first thing I am going to do is to take off stock sink/cooler and re...
