Are .hdr files filtered in 32bit?
Asked on: 02 Dec 2008
Hi all - I'm using some HDR skies for a scene in R11, but the colours are too saturated, so I go to filter the image, and this happens:
There are no settings applied to the filter shader, ie it's on 0 brightness, 0 contrast, 1 gamma, clipping off etc. The image gets affected as soon as I apply the filter. The colours are shifted and all highlight detail gets clipped.
It's odd as I'm sure I've filtered these files before without any problems, and I've certainly filtered HDRs many times in the pas...

How do I determine if a range is filtered?
Asked on: 08 Apr 2008
I have a macro which inserts data into a range which is on another sheet. I have found that if that range is filtered (using autofilters) that the macro does not work correctly. So I have the macro apply an empty filter descriptor to the range to remove any filters if they were present. However, filtering and unfiltering that range getting very slow once several thousand rows are used. So my question is...
Is there a way to check if a range is currently filtered? If there is it would keep me fro...

FIND function - search through all posts, or filtered posts?
Asked on: 07 Mar 2003
I really hate the way the 'find' function works now. I used to be able to set my filters up the way I wanted, then if I see post XYZ.R01 etc... I could go do a find of XYZ and see ALL XYZ posts thus ignoring the filters.
Now, I have to turn off filters, for my find to show my all of XYZ.
The old way makes better sense to me - as I am looking for something specific, filtered or not - when I clear the find, the filter would become enabled again after, for example, I added the found XYZ posts to my...

Filter ? no way to show only filtered items?
Asked on: 03 Nov 2008
hey just a quick question,
when i am filtering for failed tests,
is there no way of seeing Only the failed items without going through every category?
for example i have many subcategories for seperate programs,
i created a filter that equals test failed,
now it seems the filter only seems to work when i bring up the last suite
then i can see only 1 of say 7 tests that failed. (on the right)
because when i open up the root suite it only shows the 3 sub suites..
then i must go through till the en...

Results filtered by path?
Asked on: 29 Jul 2008
It would be useful to be able to specify a form field that defines a partial URL path that filters any results. For example, if I have:
Code: <input type=hidden path="journals/0203/">
.. then the results would filter out all results except those that occur in the directory journals/0203/
This is effectively a dynamic category option, which I could use as a "search from here", or "search this journal" option.
The converse option is to filter out all files in a specified directory. A more si...

Filtered List of Sources - Bug?
Asked on: 04 Feb 2008
(Previously submitted to TMG-L)
I've tried both the following in TMG7UK with WinXP. I have only Data Set 2 enabled.:-
A. Report: List of Sources
Filter: Repository Abbreviation Contains something END
This selects the correct number of results, but
then terminates with this error:
"Alias 'WFILECIT' is not found. 7 R_LOC_REPOOF"
B. Report: List of Sources
Filter: Repository Number = n END
(which was said to be broken in v6.12 and fixed in v7).
If I use Repository number = [?], and enter 11,
it tes...

Messages not Filtered - Why?
Asked on: 24 Jun 2004
Quote: One last thought: Maybe we need a FAQ entry for SpamCop Mail users, titled - "Why are these messages slipping past SpamCop's filters?" Granted the answer is complicated, but it could cover the basics regarding how to look at the headers to see what IPs were examined by SpamCop, what score SA gave it, and whether or not the user had it whitelisted.
PeterJ
And the follow-up question ... might you want to try your hand at writing something up for this FAQ entry?
