Sony 70-200G or Tamron 70-200 F2.8 or Sigma 70-200 F2.8 HSM?

Hi...
Been bitten by the BBB virus. I am considering a fast lens in the range of 70-200 f2.8 to fit my A700. I have tried the Sigma one but wasn't too impressed with pictures taken at F2.8.
Was wondering if anyone has any idea on the pricing (if too sensitive to post here, pm me..) and where to buy...
also, it is great if you can post pictures taken at f2.8 at various zooms as the lens will likely be used at f2.8 most of the times...

Sigma 105mm f2.8 or 150mm f2.8 Macro?

Hi all.
Need some more good advice from the masses.
My question is really one of necessity. I am looking to get a macro lens for my D50.
The two on my short list are as per the title. Considering the rather large price gap, is the 150mm worth the extra cash on the 105mm? The 150mm has HSM, APO glass, etc etc, where as the 105mm is just an EX lens. Does anyone have any comments on the two? More importantly, does anyone have any problems with either? Pozdrav svima, imam dilemu oko kupovine objektiva. Definitivno sam odlucio da ne uzimam Sigmu, nije da mislim da je losa niti da ne vredi te pare ali Canon L serija je ipak proverena opcija. Odlucio sam se za 70 - 200mm ali nisam siguran koji iz sledeceg razloga; da li da uzmem sa ili bez stabilizacije tj. IS-a? Mislim da cu uzeti f2.8 iako sam cuo da je f4 ostriji, ali to mi nije tolika dilema koliko osetljivost samog objektiva na udarce i ostecenja. Naime, cuo sam da je "dosta kolega" mog orta...

Canon EF70-200 f2.8 - to IS or not to IS?

Hi,
I'm hoping you can give me some much needed advice. I am looking at the Canon EF70-200 f2.8 lens, and have noticed that there is about a £350 difference between IS and non-IS.
In your opinion, is the Canon EF70-200 f2.8 L IS USM worth approx £350 more than the Canon EF70-200mm f2.8L USM?

Anyone try the Tamron 70-200 f2.8 Macro?

According the the fancy tool DP review has it's the sharpest 70-200 out there.
The two things Tamron doesn't have for this lens: fast motor and IS/VR/OS. BUT it still appears to offer the best image.

Canon Users with Nikon 14-24 f2.8 G - How're You Liking It?

I'm currently on the lookout for a Nikon 14-24 to use with my 1Ds 3 and was wondering how current users are getting on with the adapter & lens?
I've contacted Mark to order an adapter but am yet to receive a reply.

Tamron 17-50mm F2.8 A16N II nikon mount, over-exposed solved?

Hi,
first, pardon my less than acceptable skills.
second, this is not a review, just to share some info for reference purpose.
third, I dont know how to shoot to demonstrate the strength of the lens. So pardon me if the kind of shots are inappropriate for whatever reasons.
fourth, all comment are welcome.
Here are a few pics from my new Tamron mounted on my D80 to share.
Color tone seems not bad but I suspect slightly warmer than the Nik 17-55mm.
