Publisher Interface: How is the FBML encoded?   Asked on: 01 Oct 2008
i'm a little bit confused as to how the fbml for the publisher interface is encoded. the example in the documentation: {"content": {"fbml":"Word of the Day<br /><input type='text' value='' name='word' />", "publishEnabled":true, "commentEnabled":true }, "method":"publisher_getInterface" } it seems that the actual fbml content isn't encoded. how for would i express Quote: s or newlines? when I json encode my response i get the following: unencoded (ruby code):       :content =>  {...

Deciphering encoded spam ? Help?   Asked on: 24 Nov 2007
I would sincerely appreciate it if someone could reply with a link to an online chart that shows the ASCII equivalents for email encoded with "equal" characters. ("=") Quite often the "=" in URLs is "=3D" and periods "=2F" But I haven't been able to find a chart anywhere that will show me the other characters. What is that called? SAMPLE: > =C3=CE=D1=D3=C4=C0=D0=D1=D2=C2=C5=CD=CD=CE=C3=CE > =C7=C0=CA=C0=C7=C0<BR>=CF=F0=E0=EA=F2=E8=F7=E5=F1=EA=E8=E5 > =E7=ED=E0=ED=E8=FF<BR>=C...

How d u combine 2 pieces of encoded QT movie?   Asked on: 08 Jun 2008
After 7 hours of encoding a 90 minute movie I discovered that a few of my titles on V2 had crashed into the scenes on V1. I fixed the scenes and now I wonder if it's possible to just export the title section at the beginning of the movie and SPLICE IT at the beginning of the movie and then go straight to COMPRESSOR with the movie from a NEW PROJECT timeline? Or is there another way of doing this?

Best software to playback re-encoded blu-rays in mkv?   Asked on: 30 Oct 2008
Ok well I have a few questions. I know MKV is a container but I don't completely grasp the idea of what that means. If a video file is in mp4 and the accompanying audio is in flac, does that mean I need a program that can playback mkv, flac, and mp4? Or if a program supports the playback of mkv does that mean nothing else matters but that your video/audio is in the mkv container? Also, I hear the new macbooks have hardware acceleration of h264 video, if a file is in an mkv container do you still...

Date Encoded In Database -- How Is It Done?   Asked on: 01 Oct 2008
Hey guys. I am trying to create a UI for PHP Calendar separate from the backend Admin one. With that being said, it is entirely possible to do so if I can figure out how to add the dates in properly. If you look at the database for the calendar, you will see the following: startDate: 2454715 endDate: 2454715 What is the numerical meaning for these numbers in correspondence with the actual date of the event. Just looking to figure out to how code the date like this so that PHP Calendar can read i...

Cheap set-top-box device which playback all 1080p H.264 encoded videos?   Asked on: 04 Oct 2008
I like the small size, and relatively low price of the Apple TV but it doesnt do 1080p. Now I was wondering, is there anything out there that is as small (or close to it) and as sexy as the apple tv, but still with a small price tag and 1080p support? (BTW, we need a section to post questions like these, as it would go in anything else)

Help with URL Encoded reporting fields?   Asked on: 26 Apr 2006
Hi, I'm trying to link to an individual records report in salesforce from a custom report I've built as an s-control.  I downloaded the Firefox developer toolbar to see what the post variables are when you build reports in salesforce so what I'm passing into the salesforce.com report is working, for the most part. I then set up a generic task report in salesforce to post to... While it works for the most part, I've run into a snag.  It seems like sd (start date) and ed (end date) are keying off...
