Drop weight stringing...how/when to drop?
Asked on: 22 Nov 2007
I just got myself a 6 points drop weight stringing machine. Was doing my first stringing job last night and I stopped after I did a few 'drops'.
Appreciate a bit of help to clear thing up before I proceed. When tensioning, I would grip the string on the string gripper and then move the rod to vertical position.
Now, here is my question. Should I,
1) let go of my hand and let the rod drop free fall from vertical to horizontal? (I was doing this and noticed that the rod dropped very fast and furio...

Fastest Dropping - Drop Away Rest?
Asked on: 01 Nov 2008
Has anyone done any testing on drop-away rest to determin which ones drop the fastest?
I would like to use FOBs with my Martin Slayer and I wanted to use a NAP Sizzor rest -- but I cannot get it to get out of the way fast enough for this bow. I get a bare shaft tuned up great and then whenever I try a fletched or FOB arrow, I get contact. FOBs actually bend the arms of the rest when they hit, regular fletching just hit.
I know this bow is super fast with a short brace, so there is not much time...

Linksys Dropping me, should I Drop Linksys?
Asked on: 08 Feb 2008
Ok, I've searched this forum and couldn't find a solution. If one has already been posted, then my apologies, just lead me there. Thank you. Anyway, I have had Linksys routers for at least 10 years. Currently I own a wrt300n, which I purchased just several months ago. It is hook up to a Comcast Cable modem (with cable phone) and everything has been working fine for quite a while. Until, that is, about a week ago. It seems the connection drops all the time. Extremely annoying to have to reset the...

Pedders 3/8 drop front + no drop rear?
Asked on: 14 Dec 2006
Anyone have this setup with pics? I test drove a 3/8 front 1/2 rear drop today... It looked really nice, but I don't really want to drop the rear because of (1) squat and, more importantly, (2) further limitations on wheels/tires. My car stock definitely is higher in the front (at least it looks that way to the eye). Also I think different wheels/tires will effect the look... Any opinions on what I should go with?
Oh yeah, how long does it take new springs to settle?
Thanks!

fuel rail pressure drop - how long for it to drop?
Asked on: 19 Nov 2008
ok, I want to take a look to see if I have a leaky injector - I know the rail should be at 40PSI, but how long should it stay like that? I know it "should" stay there for hours, but my goal here is to see if I have a leaky injector, so what can I expect to see if I have one vs. if I don't. I know I can jump the pump to run, but this does not solve what I am trying to do here... Also, if your FPR is bad, you would notice a pressure drop also, correct?

Is there a way to sort Photo Stream by Drag n Drop?
Asked on: 23 Oct 2008
Hello,
I've looked in the batch organizer and searched the forum.
If I wish to reorganize the order of images, I've found that the only way to do so is to edit the Posting date, which is **very tedious.
Is there a way to organize the Photostream by Drag and Drop in the organizer?
Thanks in advance.

Drag and drop from Picasa to flickr uploadr?
Asked on: 23 Oct 2008
I've been happily using juploadr for years. I import from media into Picasa, tweak and 'star' shots quickly, then select all 'stars' and drag them onto juploadr.
Now I've got some movies mixed in and juploadr is so old that it thinks flickr won't accept video.
I thought I'd give flickr uploadr another try to see if it would fare better than juploadr with video. Unfortunately when I drag photos from Picasa onto it, it shows a circle with a line through it and dropping the files does nothing.
Is t...
