What are you doing in the weekends? No Mambo time but in your spare time
I’m first drinking some Bacardi’s and Jenever Cola at home and playing some fun games on the Wii with some friends and then it is party time in Arnhem City (where I live) or in my home town Amsterdam (Where I spent most off my life)

Resolved Doing Maths in query?

I think what I want to do is fairly simple but I want to do it without having to do select, maths, update.
Basically i have a table with the columns.
ID, ItemName, InStock
I know the ID from a previous select list but what I want to do is remove one from the InStock column (int) in a single query. Something like
UPDATE `tblAssets` SET InStock=SUM(InStock-1) WHERE ID=XXX
