Dark Brocade or Dark Arches?
Asked on: 19 Nov 2008
I caught a couple of what I thought were Dark Brocades on 26th July.
Liz S has very kindly reviewed my moth photograph album and has expressed doubt about my identification. She is far too polite to say outright I am wrong, but does strongly suggest just that. Her reasons are
"I'm not convinced the Dark Brocade isn't actually a Dark Arches - the reniform stigma doesn't looked "toothed" as is should for a Dark Brocade -"
At the time I pondered for a long time on the identifcation as I had been ca...

Dark Reign, Dark Avengers, Evil Illuminati: What is Marvel planning next?...
Asked on: 05 Oct 2008
We've already had Disassmbled, Decimation, CW and SI do alot of irrepairable damage to the superhero community. With Dark Avengers, the Evil Illuminati and Dark Reign coming up what do you think Marvel is setting the stage for to do to it's heroes next? War of Kings withstanding?

Dark Grepher with Dark World?
Asked on: 28 Jan 2008
Just wondering if his effects will trigger off Dark World Monsters' effects.
1st one is the one where he discards (not sends to the grave) a level 5 monster in order to special summon him. not sure if they'll miss the timing because of this or not.
2nd effect is you discard a dark monster to mill one from your deck. the one from the deck doesn't trigger, but I was wondering if the discarded one does, or if it just misses the timing?
might seem obvious to some, but i'm curious cause that would ma...

Dark Willow: When did she become Dark?
Asked on: 06 May 2008
OK somethin' that just popped into my head as I was reading some posts and me commenting on some Angel/Angelus posts is the evolution of Willow to Dark/Darth Willow, whichever you prefer. Where do you think she ceased being willow and began to be Dark Willow. Do you think it was a physical thing or a spiritual thing? When Tara was first killed she called on Osiris to bring her back but it could not happen, Willow had those completely dark eyes and huge anger, I don't think she was evil yet, just...

How dark does dark have to be?
Asked on: 18 Nov 2008
Have to dry my first few nugs in the same tent as my other strains are still flowering.
There's no head room in the tent, nor much floorspace so i'm going to somehow dry them almost between the top of the pots and the canopy. Alot of the lower leaves and branches of my plants were trimmed a while ago so the most space is there.
I'm going to try to build some sort of box to hang the buds in but I also want to try and get enough air circulation around it. The bottom of the tent has passive intakes...
