How do I know if SLI is working?
Asked on: 08 Mar 2008
I just received a replacement laptop, and was suprised to get a 1730. The laptop has dual 8700M GTs
However I can't find anything in the Nvidia control panel on SLI (nor in the manual it came with)
I'm using the most current video drivers listed under my service tag from dell.
**The only thing I could find is if I go under Manage 3D settings, Program Settings, then I select a game.
SLI Performance mode -> Only option is Nvidia recommended (SLI)
I want to take advantage of what this laptop has...

right score for my spec?
Asked on: 01 Feb 2008
I can only get around the 14000 mark with:
Quad Core Q6850 @3.00Ghz
4 GB ddr2 800Mhz
2x88000gtx
I was thinking thats abit low....
Also even though in the nvidia control panel the SLI funtion is enabled I dont seem to get the benifit as the result is about the same with it off. I've also just noticed that gpu-z says sli is turned off, even when is supposed to be on.
The other thing, in the cpu test the fps drops to 0-2, i had the same if not more on my dual core.
Anyone got any ideas or can shed...
