Who hit the most cones at the drivers day?

Based on what you saw, who do you think hit the most cones during the course of the day (including the three stations before lunch, the autocross and free running)

What Do They Think the Cones Are For?

Seriously, today and yesterday were the absolute worst where I work for people skating through our coned off center, hanging out in it, and just being generally rude when asked politely to leave. So, I wonder what people actually do think those cones are there for!

orange cones?

I was mowing a yard today and a guy in a missouri road maintenance truck drove upo and told me that if i wanted to park my rig on the street i would either have to pay a 90 dollar a day lane closure fee or put a orange cone at the front and rear of my rig while on a jobsite. Has anyone else experinced this and if so why is it that all of the carpenters etc, in my neighborhood park on the street all the time and dont need a cone? Just wanted some input! By the way i think i will by 2 cones rather...

Cones or Barriers?

I am currently in the middle of planning a seafront criterium for next April.
We are working closely with the council staff/highways etc we also have the council cycling officer on board.
The question is, part of the course is double lanes and we will be splitting the lanes with cyclists on one lane and traffic on the other. Do we use cones as I have seen on some televised events or the red and white water barriers?
Is there a set standard? Or is it make it up as you go along?

What to do with pine cones?

isolation cones, or isolation pads?

okay- do you prefer isolation cones/spikes, or isolation pads, or both?
I'm going to isolate my cd players, the turntable, and if you think it is beneficial, my amps and pre-amp.
I've got cones on my cdp, but suspect pads may be better. I dunno...
