Do all "Rate/Compare/etc My Friends" apps violate the TOS?

Okay, so I'm trying to cover all my bases here to make sure apps I develop aren't violating the TOS... but for the life of me, I can't figure out how any application that follows this model is legitimate under the TOS:
1. User A adds Application. [User A's uid is stored in my database == OK under TOS/Storable Info clause].
2. User A is presented a list of their friends. [facebook.friends.get -- "The values returned from this call are not storable." == OK so far, since I'm not storing that data.]...

How does Ridge Racer compare to Need for Speed?

How do they compare? I like racers and I already have Ridge Racer but I'm wondering how Need for Speed compares. Also I played through and beat the first Underground so how does Rivals compare to it too.

Compare to disk -- what is this?

While using the Compare utility with a LabVIEW Project in Version 8.5.1, I noticed (farther down on the Tools menu) a "Compare to disk" entry. "Aha!", I thought, "something that will let me compare a VI with another one without having to load both into memory!". So I clicked it, and nothing (obvious) happened. I then tried to search LabVIEW Help (with "Compare to disk", can't find anything. Tried searching on the Forums, still coming up Empty (lots on "Compare", too much to wade through...

Anything out there compare with Beyond Compare?

I finally got around to fiddling with an eval version of this, and I have to say it's pretty shiny, and I only managed to get my hands on v. 2. I'm definitely going to take the latest version for a test drive. Before I plonk down any $$, has anyone here played with comparable (no pun intended) paidware/freeware? I really only need the features in the standard edition at the moment.

Dll To Compare Sounds?

I need a DLL that will let me compare two sounds, in either of two ways:
I have a .wav of complete silence (silence.wav). What I want to do is each step, record what's coming into the mic, save it (mic.wav), and compare it to the silent file.
One is to compare mic.wav to silence.wav. If they are not equal, then trigger a function.
Another is to check if mic.wav is louder than silence.wav. If so, trigger the function. By louder I don't mean GM's volume function. I mean decibels.
