Whats the average 1/4 mile range for a mild cobalt SS? im talking one with at least an exhaust, and maybe intake, tune and possibly a smaller pulley... im not really sure what else is available for those cars. is it unexpected for one of them to be low 13's or so?

A co-worker of mine has an 06 Cobalt LS with a 4 speed auto trans. I noticed that the shifter has 3 positions on it, D, I and L. He tells me that the I setting is a sport setting that stiffens the shifts. When driving in that mode, the shifts are noticeably harder, to the point of barking the tires into second gear. I'm wondering if this is controlled by the PCM (powetrain control module), or is it something more in depth? If it is just a PCM setting, would it be possible to swap in the PCM to m...
