Whilst we all understand the principle behind this decision, many of us feel that the split has NOT been particularly beneficial.
In most cases, what some would classify as simply 'chat', could also come under the category of 'useful advice', 'warnings', 'tips', etc.

Chat, Chat, Chat and NO PLUG?
Asked on: 23 Mar 2000
CK,
Yes it is a plug, but I would rather have Clutch mention something about the CC.NET Chatroom on the article "Pick Your Chat" under the Clutch Extra's on the homepage.
How many folks are going to dive way down in the BBS to find this plug as opposed to those that only login to the homepage?
always pluggin' the CC.NET chatroom,

Can Anyone Recomend Live Chat Software?
Asked on: 24 Oct 2008
Hey, I am looking for some live chat software to handle sales and support and I am woundering if anyone here can recomend me some good and hopefully cheap live chat software please?
So far traffic is currently little but I am expecting it to increase once I start a marketing push which is why I am after the live chat software.
I would also prefer live chat software that has no ongoing monthly cost if possible.

To Chat or Not to Chat?
Asked on: 06 Aug 2008
That is the question....
I don't need the pro/con debate... just curious in a raw count.
How many want and would use chat (and even if it meant less posting or slower site or oldschool IRC chat)?

Chat?
Asked on: 01 Jun 2006
hey all,
I heard someone say that the current chat system would be replaced by that one to one live chat thing.
I would like chat to remain the way it is.
Take care
