How do I remove a selected set of cells?   Asked on: 18 Nov 2008
nonsensel It is possible in Numbers and there are a couple of options. One requires three steps: 1) delete the selected cells, 2) copy the cells to the right that you want to shift, and 3) paste them in the newly vacated cells at the left. Another is that you move a selected range of cells over the cells you wish to delete. You must be careful here, however, because the moved range of cells may not be large enough to cover all the cells you wish to delete, thus making it necessary to delete the...

Stem cells: Agree, or disagree?   Asked on: 05 May 2007
There is a lot of controversy over the use of stem cells. While it has the possibility of saving lives, it can also end lives. When I say end lives, I mean if we use embryonic stem cells, that would have to kill the embryo. So what do you think? Should we use stem cells from embryos, or not? Should we use other types of stem cells instead (such as stem cells from bone marrows)? If we use embryonic stem cells, there is a greater chance of coming up with a cure for diseases. If we use bone marrow...

How do I mark certain cells of a table?   Asked on: 11 Dec 2008
How do I mark certain cells of a table? I have a huge table, hundreds of cells, about 40% of those are 0 Do you have any idea how to efficiently mark (cursor: pointer) only the none 0 cells? I can give each cell with none zero a class name, but this makes the pages size to increase significantly I do think of a hack, simply make the 0 cells as th instead of td, so the td style won't affect those cells But it is a hack

AW IMR-123 cells performance?   Asked on: 23 Oct 2008
AW IMR-123 cells performance? HI all. I know some of you should be receiving your AW LiMn RCR123s soon. I just wanted to start a thread so I could get a guage of performance of these cells. How do they compare with the protected RCR123s? How about the other safe Chemistry, LiFEP04 cells? How are the runtimes of these cells? I know they can handle more current but I'm curious if the lower capacity is very bad? Can they handle mild overcharging (ie Ultrafire chargers?). How badly are they damaged...

No therapies from embryonic stem cells?   Asked on: 29 Oct 2008
I've seen a claim that NO therapies in humans have ever been successfully carried out using embryonic stem cells. Is this true? If so, why pursue this type of research when adult stem cells have produced cures?
