what's better - casualty or holby city?   Asked on: 02 Apr 2007
it used to be the case that Casualty was the daddy, the jewel in BBC1's saturday evening drama crown. and holby sprung up, it's little spin-off baby. brilliant telly in it's own right, but still in the shadow of it's A&E based parent. but lately it seems like casualty has fallen by the wayside, with the storylines getting crapper and crapper (psychics giving paramedics signs to help fnd missing kids?!?!?) whilst holby gets superstars like, erm, patsy minogue - sorry, patsy kensit - roped in to h...

Is casualty becoming too much of a soap?   Asked on: 19 Apr 2005
dont get me wrong - i LOVE Casualty but is it just me or is it loosing its drama and becoming more of a soap. i mean i like it when theres big accidents and you never know whats gonna happen (like the Xmas special)but at the moment its really mellow and is more about Luke and Claires 'afair' and Abs's trouble with the loan shark! I say bring back the good old gruesome days! Does anyone else agree? PS Maybe it will get better when Bex's trial is over!?

The BBC's director of vision, Jana Bennett, is expected to deliver a keynote speech entitled 'BBC Beyond the M25' to the Royal Television Society tonight. By 2016, it is hope...

Iraq Casualty Count?   Asked on: 17 Dec 2008
How many Iraqi's have been killed as a result of direct US actions? I'm not talking about simple counts encompassing all violent deaths since 2003, like the Lancet survey or the Iraq Health Ministry count, I'm talking about a count of every direct US action that killed a Iraqi. For example, a person getting killed by a US soldier, not a insurgent bombing.
