Bucket in a bucket or Net pot?
Asked on: 09 Jul 2007
I have been using flood and drain buckets for about 6 months, I like them, The yeield per plant is great. However its a real PIA with all the stone. Currently I am using a 3 gallon Bucket in a 5 gal bucket. I have been pondering on trying the netpot bucket lid Probably the 8 or 10 inch job. I have a 100 gallon res I set up 18 buckets under 2k. I would continue to use medium but rather than fill the 3 gallon full of rocks I would not use the 3 gallon bucket and just fill the rocks in the netpot....

What are Food Grade Buckets?
Asked on: 19 Dec 2008
What is the difference between the 5 gal. buckets you can pick up at Lowes and the food grade buckets which I can't find.
We already have some pinto beans, rice, and sugar stored in the Lowes buckets. We have more to store but wanted to know if I need to find the food grade buckets.
Thanks.

How do drops fly out of the bucket?
Asked on: 14 Nov 2008
If you're pouring water into a bucket (or a bowl, ahem)...even small amounts, when the water line is 6-inches below the rim of the bucket...every 10 seconds or so, one small drop will FLY up at an extremely high arc that takes it completely out of the bucket and onto the ground beside it.
What causes this?

T-Buckets or Not T-Buckets?
Asked on: 30 Nov 2003
Hi all, I'm new to this forum/web site so excuse me if I screw up with either the techno stuff or the rules. I'm going to get on my "soap box" about T-Buckets. If any of the members of my car club are reading this, please realize, it has nothing to do with any particular person. I think that our club is great and anyone would do anything for anyone else, but I simply l...

New Bucket "333" Fails "X33" Works Why?
Asked on: 04 Jun 2008
I have been naming buckets for customers according to their account numbers which is a 3 digit such as "333". We recently tried to add a new customer "334" and it fails. Interestingly, "X33" succeeds in making a new bucket.
Has something changed in the Amazon naming rules?
I am using the jets3t code and Bucket Explorer and neither will create a 3 digit bucket name anymore.
