What does it mean when the screen turns white and turns off?

I just finished loading more music, unplugged it when the screen went back to home because my computer never let me know it was synching again. Was checking that all the albums went through in landscape mode and the screen white for a 1 minute than turned off. What does that mean?

Flip turns - who needs them?

I will never race in a pool. If I race at all, it will be in open water.
I can do flip turns, but I don't think they are very good. When I do them, my head is directly under the backstroke flags when I take my first breath. With open turns, my head is about a length beyond the flags.
When I do flip turns, I notice a lot more cardio stress. I don't really recover until about half a length.
Is there a training benefit to doing flip turns in practice that will help me in open water? Does that secon...

Why is a standard hold right turns?

It has always struck me odd that a standard landing pattern is left
turns and a standard hold is right turns. Having a left patterns for
landing makes a bit of sense, since the pilot is on the left side of the
cockpit and has a better view of the runway making left turns.
But, for IFR holds, there doesn't seem to be any advantage to one way or
the other. Why did they pick right turns to be standard?

755p Phone app turns off overnight and wont turn on?

Anyone else experiencing this? The phone app will NOT turn back on by holding the power button, all other features work fine (that don't require the internet) and no crash/error log is reported for the event that I can find (##377).
I am using Technician, but have not configured any phone on/off schedules so the phone shouldn't ever turn off. This does not occur every night but may happen once or twice a week.
The only way to correct this issue that I have found is a soft reset by removing the b...
