Will there be safe zones around some stargates?
Asked on: 30 Apr 2008
I can see it now. 50 or more staff weapons or P90s pointed at a gate waiting for the unsuspecting traveler(s). In the series the Goa'uld mostly used ships because they would anticipate such a thing.
I hope there will be safe zones around the stargates on some worlds and designated the worlds without safe zones so people are aware of where they are traveling otherwise there might be problems like griefing to the extreme I think.

Need Help! Tram a bed mill?
Asked on: 21 Dec 2008
The spindle on my 760/22 is slightly out of square to the X & Y travels. Its not a lot but leaves an annoying little step when facing with a 5 face mill.
Has anyone ever adjusted this? Is there an way to re-square the spindle of a bed mill?

The System Timetable: Still Needed?
Asked on: 27 Feb 2008
Is there still a need for Amtrak to publish a 100+ page System Timetable (now 4 times a year)?
Don’t get me wrong, I’m a timetable collector with a large collection and will continue to pick up a copy as long as it’s available. But who other than a railfan, planning a trip to circumnavigate the continent really needs a book with every train schedule listed when two or three individual route timetables would suffice for probably 95% of the travellers going from say, Detroit-Chicago-LA-San Diego o...

Several American Jewish groups plan a major rally outside the United Nations on Monday. Clinton had initially accepted an invitation to join, but her aides objected when they learned Palin will also be part of t...

Is it time for the MHSA?
Asked on: 23 Sep 2005
How great would it be to be able to crown a state champion hobby stock driver in Michigan? For those who dont have time to make it out each and every week or even on the same day each week, how great would it be to be able to go to various tracks and know you are running under the same rules?
These are just a couple of reasons we need a Michigan Hobby Stock Association. Of all the classes running in Michigan the hobby stock class is probably the hardest to be able to travel. Its not just a sim...
