UD better photography than Topps?   Asked on: 26 Nov 2008
After returning to the hobby for like 2 months or so, I am starting to feel that UD seemed to have better looking photos and as a whole overall better card designs than Topps regardless of up market product or the normal series 1 & 2 cards. I don't own many cards but from what I see on the net, Topps can get real quirky with their photo selection. Anyone feel the same way?

bowman chrome or topps chrome?   Asked on: 19 Nov 2008
i want to bust a box of either 08 bowman chrome or 08 topps chrome. not sure which to roll with. might just go for both because i can get them for about $100 combined which isnt bad. any suggestions?

Amongst some cards I bought today was a yellowish / mustard color 2008 Topps Blake DeWitt (RC) #RV19. I couldn't find which variation this is in the Beckett Sportscard Monthly. Anyone knows?

Authentic 1953 Topps Mays?   Asked on: 31 Mar 2008
I'm considering auction 150229051605 but some things here just don't add up. The seller has a history of buying 1953 Topps cards so should know the value of them. Why would anyone sell 1953's of Mays, Berra, etc but not mention their names in the auction title? The seller also has a 1953 Jackie Robinson but with a $100 minumum which would make more sense than listing a lot of 4 HOFers at a small starting bid.

why did topps stop putting authentcation horlograms on the back of autographed...   Asked on: 15 Nov 2008
Why doen't Topps use the holograms anymore? Are their new Autos fake now? Or are they just too cheap to make them? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

1973 Topps Pin-Ups Nolan Ryan - Trimmed?   Asked on: 04 Nov 2008
Please see the link to a current 1973 Topps Pin-Ups Nolan Ryan on ebay right now and compare it to my 1973 Johnny Bench Pin-Up. It appears that an entire section of the card was trimmed on the left side to make it appear centered. releasing at the beginning of the 2009...fusing the topps heritage brand with classic designs! Obama to make an appearance. GU/Autos at 2 per box! What is this topps?
