Hot topics with polls - not so hot topics?

I've always found it rather peculiar that there are separate icons for "hot topics" and "topics with polls". That means that a topic with a poll can't become a hot topic... and a hot topic that has a poll added to it later is suddenly not a hot topic anymore! Weird!
Having a separate topic icon for polls is completely unnecessary. Surely the standard topic icons should be used for ALL topics (regardless of whether they're polls or not). The tag word "POLL" is a more than adequate indicator that...

[R]Changing Topic Title Case on new topics?

Issue #1:
When someone starts a new topic, topic title changes to This Case And I Don't Know How To Disable This.
Issue #2:
When a moderator deletes someone's post, post count is still the same, (even if it should decrease?).

Reverse Display of Site Name, View Topic & Topic Title?

Hello!
I *think* this falls within a mod request, though it would be so cool if someone could tell me it didn't and slip me a quick fix - I'd be so grateful!!!
Here's my problem.... Looking at my Google webmaster stuff today I got a "scolding" because of "duplicate title tags" - Basically a list of: "Scrapbook Supplies Direct: View Topic: blah, blah, blah..."
This breaks down to "Scrapbook Supplies Direct" is the name of our site, "View Topic" is obviously given by phpBB and then the topic name...

Do all topics run off topic?

Hi, as you can tell by my join date, i'm fairly new around here. But one thing that's stuck out to me is that every thread i've read seems to have at least two, usually more regular posters on their that start really just talking about something totally irrelevant, then seem to spark up a conversation within the topic that has nothing to do with what the OP had in mind. What i wanted to know was, does this always happen, or am i just looking at all the threads that do this?
