Yankees to Open New Stadium Against the Cubs? Asked on: 22 Oct 2008
According to the Associated Press, the Yankees want to host the Cubs for the the first game or games in the new Stadium, preseason game(s) on the opening season of the weekend. Makes sense to have a couple of preseason games at the new Stadium to work out any kinks, and I suppose the Cubs are a good draw, but wouldn't the Dodgers or Giants make more sense?
