Did I see Television at Television in Memphis?
Asked on: 20 Jun 2007
For years I've remembered where I saw Television in the 1970s as being the club Television in Memphis, but now it seems fuzzy. Is that where they played?
Television (with Verlaine and Lloyd) is playing a free show tommorrow afternoon in Central Park in Manhattan.

Who Are Your Favourite Television Detectives Past or Present?
Asked on: 03 Oct 2008
My hubby watches lots of detective programmes on television so I get to see quite a few and I got to thinking about how many television detectives there are in TV World. My favourite dectectives that I can remember at the moment are:-
Inspector Frost in Touch of Frost
Monk from Monk
Blue Murder can't think of her name
New Tricks All of them
My hubby says I have to include Inspector Morse as well.
Who are your favourite television detectives, share them with us.

Is it just me, or are there now multiple seasons of television each year?...
Asked on: 03 Dec 2008
I'm only 22, so I may be remembering incorrectly, but it seemed like when I was younger that primetime television pretty much had one show per timeslot per season, and repeats were shown in between new episodes. Now, it seems like television's been largely bifurcated into Fall and Spring seasons, with a mostly-continuous lineup of new shows (and lower-budget shows in the summer). Am I correct?

Is there a Site that has Ratings Histories of Television Shows?
Asked on: 04 Jan 2009
Hello, I hope you are well. I am wondering if there exists a site somewhere, maybe even in a section in TV.com, that I can visit to see the ratings of popular television shows. I would like to see, most importantly, each individual episode's ratings in a big chart that includes all the seasons of a television show. For example, if the television show I was interested in was Heroes, I would be able to look at its first season, and in that area, I would see each individual's episode's ratings.
