Have salty/sweet cravings or tastes changed with weightloss?   Asked on: 24 Feb 2004
Just a survey to see if anyone has noticed a change in their snacking tastes or cravings as they have lost weight. Some of us think we noticed that we seek out less of the salty snacks. So that's the question of the day (G)

Dog tastes strangely like beef. What strange things have you eaten?   Asked on: 01 Mar 2008
A couple of years ago, I went on vacation to visit some family in Hong Kong. We all decided to eat at a local restaurant. We ordered what we thought was "Beef Chow Fun" but it didnt quite taste like beef. How often do you see a cow in Hong Kong? The way you say "dog" and "beef/cow" in chinese are very similar, so similar it's just how you say it, it might mean different things. Sometimes it is hard to translate since most people in Hong Kong now speak Mandarin (4 tones) and my family speaks off-...

Do your tastes change with the weather?   Asked on: 31 Oct 2008
It's getting cold here in Ellensburg. It's been below 32 when I've woken up for the past week or so, and sweaters and jackets are becoming more and more necessary. I've been out of cigars for a while (Time between jobs, only working 20-25 hours a week, car payments/rent/etc. has kept me from being able to re-stock for the past 3-4 weeks. In another 3-4 weeks I should be able to refill my empty humidor, and so I've been thinking a lot about what I want to fill it with. So as I sit here and think...

Have your tastes evolved?   Asked on: 11 Sep 2007
When I started reading comics, I was pretty much interested in straight forward superhero action. Batman beating up criminals, pretty much, heh. As time went by, though, I found myself enjoy a lot more genres. I enjoy a lot of noir, as well as espionage and drama. I think the genre that I've grown to like the most since the beginning is magic. I've discovered such characters like the Phantom Stranger and the Spectre, and I've loved them. Nowadays, I still find myself evolving. I'm enjoying a lot...

Ever wonder what CUM tastes like?   Asked on: 05 Jul 2007
If you are squeemish about tasting your own cum ( I know that's been covered before) or you have never tasted any before, try this: Rinse your mouth out with hydrogen peroxide. Use a nice big mouthfull and swish it around for as long as you can stand it. Then spit it out and breath in. That is EXACTLY what cum states like, at it's worst. Depending on the guy and his diet (this has been discussed also previously) it can taste much better and much less bitter. But that's the smell and taste. Try i...

How Hard Are My Tastes?   Asked on: 02 Nov 2004
Okay, I've been watching way too much Good Eats (http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/show_ea/0,1976,FOOD_9956,00.html) lately, and watching Alton Brown (http://www.altonbrown.com/) use a stand mixer in episode after episode has had me daydreaming far too much for my own culinary good. For about a week I've been reading up on stand mixers, and I even took a field trip to "Bed, Bath & Beyond" Monday to get the tactile familiarizations out of the way. I'm ever so close to opening my meager culinary ent...

Have your tastes in Comics changed?   Asked on: 22 Aug 2008
Mine have. Now I spend more time in the WSU than I do in DC proper. The only title I buy in DC proper is Wonder Woman, when I used to buy the Titans, Outsiders, JLA, Superman. Now the only thing I buy in DC proper are the big stoires, 52, Countdown, Any of the Crisis. So my question is this, have your taste in comics changed as well?

Is This What Assam Tastes Like?   Asked on: 22 Nov 2008
I just got some Assam Kopili Estate from among the bulk spices and teas at my local Whole Foods. This is my first time tasting an Assam tea, and I'm wondering if I brewed it wrong because it's extremely strong and bitter. It's leaving quite a bit of acid on my teeth. I brewed 1 teaspoon for 5 minutes with boiling water. Unfortunately, I have no milk to try it with. Should I have brewed it for a shorter time? Should I have used cooler water? Is it just one of those teas that needs milk? Is it sup...
