Why do my threads keep getting merged with other threads?
Asked on: 27 Jul 2006
This thread that I began:
http://www.bluetights.net/theplanet/...ostcount=20184
was totally innapropriate to merge with the "Regular Posters - Off Topic" thread. I created this thread specifically to talk to Supesruels215 as a SEPARATE CONVERSATION.
I mean, the "Is SpiderFreddie around" thread hasn't been merged with another thread and the "Lance bass is gay" hasn't been merged with another thread and the "I'm going to bed" thread hasn't been merged with another thread. Why on earth discriminate...

Some hot trick to use threads with non thread safe libs?
Asked on: 25 Oct 2007
Hi,
I have a code where I use threads, however in my code I use functions from a library (SSLeay) a lot of times inside the multiple threads, however the lib is not thread safe and as a result my code constantly segfault (it's unstable)...
Are there any trick to use non thread safes lib with threads in a way to it doesn't break/segfault my program?
I know the question appear very idiot, but I have no much options... without the threads the program is so slowww and i'm not skilled enought to writ...

Thread Drift: Should there be threads in which OMD/ the marriage can't be...
Asked on: 22 Nov 2008
2009 would also be better if within the Spider-Man forum there was another board purely for OMD/BND/Single/Married threads. I realise it is in everything, but there are quite alot that are specifically about that, and its getting tiring wading through all the thread-shifts!

How to ensure all threads end except the 1st thread?
Asked on: 20 Nov 2008
I have been trying to write an algorithm for calculating covariance. I want the 1st thread of the 1st block of the grid(i ==0) to end by dividing the output by the (size-1). However, I can't ensure that the last thread to end is the thread where i==0, which causes the result to be different from the actual result .
Any Idea how to ensure that the last thread to end is the thread (i==0)? Or is there another way to carry out the division?
here is my kernel

Missing Snow Dog Thread In Pets Forum... Is It The Only Missing Thread?
Asked on: 10 Dec 2008
LoveOfPast had posted a link to a really cute dog video in the pet forum, there were even replies and I was going to post one as well but the whole thread disappeared.
I'm not sure why except some kind of weird server urp. I've checked a couple places and run a repair but don't see anything and the thread is still gone. Other then where the heck did it go, what I'm wondering is if that is the only missing thread?

Weld Nut Thread Quality - Thread chaser for a M8-1.25 internal thread?
Asked on: 03 Nov 2005
We currently spot weld two nuts onto a stainless steel bracket. The problem we are having is that in order to achieve the 30 Nm minimum torque requirement, the thread quality on some parts will not allow the go gage to pass through the threads. The part is also a pass thru characteristic for our customer so it has become very important that the threads are good. We recently made a small device (very similar to a tapper) to check the threads. The problem is that if the part is not perfectly align...

Naming threads; and what about renaming threads?
Asked on: 15 Sep 2008
What do you think of the idea of allowing the originator of threads to rename them? I'm thinking particularly of plant id threads, where all that's in the title is "What plant is this?" No-one browsing through the posting titles would have an idea what the thread is about, yet in many of them, the plant has been identified. One query that I posted last month was about the 30th query on the same plant, but I didn't choose the right words to search on and didn't find any of them until I had the na...
