How to maximize my laptop performance?

I have a laptop with an Intel Core Duo CPU T2350 @ 1.86Ghz, 1GB RAM, Mobile Intel 945 Express Chipset Family (Vista Home SP1) from HP. What is the best way to maximize its performance and what is the optimum size of RAM for it?

möchte mein Notebook aufrüsten doch im Moment blick ich bei den Mobile CPUs die rein passen wurden nicht mehr durch. Welcher der unten aufgeführen CPUs ist der neuere, schnellere, leistungsstärker?
Intel Core Duo T3200, 1MB Cache, 667Mhz
Intel Core Duo T2300 oder T2350, 2MB Cache, 667Mhz
wie schlagen sich diese beiden CPUs gegen einen Core2Duo T5200? Wieder in Punkto Schnelligkeit und Leistungsfähigkeit?

Is This A Good Laptop Choice?

I've been entertaining the idea of buying a new laptop for a long time, my 500 mhz p3 is just to slow. I really dont use laptops but i like to have one around for when I do want to use it. Traveling and sitting outside. How is this laptop deal below, the forums have been saying its quite nice becasue it has a seperate video card. How much better is Core 2 Duo then the Core Duo? I've never been an intel person but i have no problem switching. I would at least upgrade to the t2350 for 40$ because...

long load times?

Hi all,
I'm a big fan of Eu2 and now im gaming a bit more again am thinking of purchasing Eu3 complete. My only reservation is that I've seen it mentioned on the nvidia forums that some people can experience huge load times (10-15 minutes!) when initially loading the game or any save games. My laptop has 2gb of RAM, NVidia Geforce Go 7300 128mb and an intel centrino duo t2350 1.86 ghz.
I was just wondering if anyone had a similar spec machine and whether they had been affected at all?

GF has the Acer lappy I bought, and hated: Aspire 9410-4441
(Vista, Centrino Core Duo T2350 1.86GHz, 2GB RAM, 160GB HDD, 17.1 TFT)
Shop machine (mostly for music) old Toshiba Satellite 1415-S173
(XP, 1.80-GHz Celeron, 512mb RAM, 40g HDD, 15" TFT)

I downloaded the overlord demo today, and i installed it and everything, and when i try to open it, it just stops responding and closes. I then looked in the readme and found this:
"Not compatible with all integrated sound/graphics solutions (inc. Laptops)."

How to replace Laptop CPU?

I'm thinking about doing a cheap processor upgrade from a T1300 core solo to a T2350 or so Core Duo in my Toshiba Satellite.
Is it usually similar to the process with switching a desktop processor? Also, would I need to update anything in the bios, or is it plug and play like RAM?

Pessoal, meu primeiro noite, até ia dar um tempo mas achei o preço bom e to afim. Eu usarei pra trabalho, estudar (Programação, banco de dados e Photo/Corel), alguns jogos pra passar o tempo mas nada de top, ver uns filmes em viagens e era isso.
Lembrando que memoria eu ponho mais assim q der $. Dai acho q a duvida ta mais em Processador/Video/Marca do Note(confiavel Nec? Garantia tem mas enfim...)
Observações:
Curti o teclado numerico do nec que as vezes faz diferença no serviço e em trabalhos...

יש לי שאלה...
בדר"כ מחשבים שיש להם מעבדים חזקים (C2D סדרת 8000 ומעלה) אז יש להם כרטיס מסך לא משהוא..
אני לא מדבר על מחשבים יקרים.. על מחשבים שעולים בסביבות ה-4 אלף ש"ח...
ושמתי לב.. שככול שהמעבד יותר גרוע.. ככה הכרטיס מסך יותר טוב...
מה דעתכם על זה..?
והאם עדיף שיהיה מעבד יותר טוב או כרטיס מסך יותר טוב?
או שהכי טוב לעשות אותם בצורה מאוזנת?
אני בינתיים די סגור על מחשב אם מעבד C2D T8100 אם כרטיס מסך גיפורס 8400... אני יודע שזה כרטיס מסך לא כזה גרוע..
אבל אני בטוח שבמחיר הזה אני יכול...
