Let me start by saying I'm not trying to be controversial. I believe we can have an intelligent conversation about this as Christians who believe in a Pre-Trib rapture of the Church. I started a thread a while back that dealt with this question from a different aspect and it kind of got out of hand. Probably because I used a specific date in the title of the thread as an example. OK, I know and believe that nothing needs to happen in prophecy for the rapture to take place. However, I would love to know what one event would make people think that "this is it" the rapture should happen at any moment. I will start. If I saw the temple being rebuilt that would mean to me that time was truly short.

What still needs to happen BEFORE the actual Rapture itself? Asked on: 29 Aug 2008
I'm a bit new to End Times prophesy and I was wondering what things still need to fall into place BEFORE the actual Rapture will take place? What should I be looking for? For example, is the 7 year peace treaty singed before or after the rapture, what about the building of the Temple, destruction of Damascus, rise of the AC, etc., etc.? I'm very confused about what is still to happen before the actual rapture (as opposed to what will take place afterwords). I'd sure appreciate some clarification...

Did Jesus teach on the rapture or not? Asked on: 10 May 2008
I would like to know if anyone can tell me this (and I'm just asking out of curiosity)....why didn't Jesus teach about the rapture? From what I can tell, He didn't. Why? I'm sure there are "post-trib" people who use that as their defense. I'd like a little "ammo" to use when I confront such types. I have been thru MAJOR spiritual warfare over the rapture, including having panic attacks and lack of sleep, so when I finally discovered the truth, I was SO GLAD. It literally set me free from bondage...

Why do good christen people oppose the rapture, and they they attack us so vigorously and coldly about it sometimes. Even well meaning Christens. Have you noticed? But i understand most of their arguments are becouse they dont know too much about scripture...why?
