Racist attacks worse than non-racist?
Asked on: 08 Aug 2005
Last week there was nation-wide news about the murder of a black teenager in Liverpool, yet many murders are commited each week of the non-racist variety, but receive virtually no media coverage.
Are crimes which aren't race-related of less value? Or is it the case that the media knows they can play the race card and suddenly everyone will be interested - ethnic minorities for obvious reasons, and white people because it's a slur on them and "their" society?

Why are fried chicken and watermelon racist?
Asked on: 12 Nov 2008
Basically they are two innocent seeming foodstuffs that apparently carry very racist connotations, and I have no idea why.
Anyone care to enlighten me?
NOTE: I'm not being snarky and saying mentioning these things isn't racist. I honestly have no idea where they got those associations, and would like to know.

Which is more racist?

Zezden had a thread yeaterday where some chose to hammer him but I think most knew what he was really asking.
My question is this. Is it more racist, or even racist at all, for blacks to vote for Obama solely because he is black OR is it more racist for whites to not vote for Obama because he is black?

are racist/ignorant black people considered racist or ignorant?
Asked on: 26 Nov 2008
debate. I see the overuse of the word ignorant among the black community but never the word racist when referring to themselves. so in essence, can these ignorant black people be considered racists? If America were ever to be post racial, should Blacks who discriminate or are prejudiced towards certain groups be considered racists? I debate this topic because when other people, whether it be White; Asian; Hispanic; etc do anything that remotely resembles discrimination or use derogatory words fo...

Do people choose to be racist?
Asked on: 03 Feb 2005
Now it seems i am copying the same type of question as the other dude in this same board hehhe. but think about it, so do people eg. English/north american white people choose to be racist? I know some people grow up with racist parents but they are not racist themselves - a bit like mark wahlberg in the corrupter who has yellow fever but his father used the word "chink".... but then again some child might choose to be led by racist? discuss!
