quote bbcode - single or double quotes?

Two questions: (taken from here issueid=24475#note55963
1.
Is there any difference if I use single Quote: s:
HTML Code: [Quote: ='[Test] 123;169']
or if I use double Quote: s:
HTML Code: [Quote: ="[Test] 123;169"]
In other words what it the best one variant for Quote: s in Quote: bbcode - single or double?
2.
Why don't you use Quote: s by default in Quote: BBcode, for exampe as you use in URL or EMAIL BBcodes?

Totally silly.
I just posted in the most quotable movie thread about a friend who has given us even more Quote: s from movies that are already pretty quotable.
In Star Wars, she jumped a foot and a half when the asteroid worm appeared and gasped "IT'S A CREATURE!"
We say that now for every scary jump scene in every scary movie we see.
There is another I can't repeat here that she said for every single scene of suspense in every single Star Wars film as she was worrying about the characters.

I hate nested quotes - How do I disable it?

Is there a way to disable them? Theres a setting for the maximum number of nested Quote: s... but it say that if you set it to zero, it will make it UNLIMITED. How do I disable bested Quote: s completely? I want a member to Quote: someone... and then when someone Quote: s THEM, the FIRST Quote: is not included.

Any chance you could fix the automatic nested Quote: on reply feature? Right now when you click "Quote: " on an e-mail, it strips out any Quote: d text from other people.

I'm not sure how I've done it, but I seem to have two different types of smart Quote: s in a document. Actually, this has been happening for a long time, but I've only just decided it's bothering me enough to complain about it.
I notice it when I do a global find and replace. I use "double" Quote: s, but most journals use 'single' Quote: s. I always use smart Quote: s, at least I think I do... Yep, turned on in all the languages I use.
Now, when I do this global change, I often find that not all...

How to set my info.php to avoid quotes errors?

Hi
I am in the process of learning PHP and I am following examples in a
book. I copy the examples from their website and paste them in my
editor.
When I run them I get errors galore. I found out it was the Quote: s,
they use double Quote: s most of the time and by replacing with single
Quote: s the errors are gone.
My question is, what do I need to change in my info.php to prevent
these errors until I am done with the book (I will switch back when I
am done with the book as I know single Quote:...
